That is still a minority.

And it's in an echo chamber. So hardly surprising?

Confirmation bias, pure and simple.

Not really. This is a video of a piece of news from SkyNews which is a mainstream media.

The fact that there are 1.8K comments doesn't make this a minority opinion. A video has only a limited number of views over two days. Unless you are expecting 10 million comments in a few days.

Your argument is incorrect and flawed.

According to you most of what you will be reading will be a minority view regardless of agreement or disagreement simply because there are no millions of view and comments in a single video...

Did you learn this type of logic on the School of Law when you studied years ago or was it in the School of Medicine??

1.8K comments.

I mean according to you whether video doesn't gather millions of comments then it represents minority views....

The UK has a population of........?

Not millions, no. Not even thousands of comments.

By my maths and logic, that makes a minority.

No?

Not a valid argument for all the reasons explained above.

According to you every video and its comments represent minority views as there are not millions of comments in the comment section. So every video regardless of whether the viewers agree or disagree, represents a minority view. That's absurd.

This is not relevant to the videos we are discussing. There can only be a limited amount of comments, usually a few thousands. You don't expect 40 million people to comment on the video.

What is relevant is to have a look on how many of these comments are in favour of against.

No, I certainly don't expect 40 million people to comment on a YouTube video..

Minority.

Again.

So you don't have a valid argument.

You cannot say this is a minority view based on videos that have hundreds or thousands of views and comments. But you can apply the principles of majority and minority in the comments made. In this case the majority show full support for Andrew Bridgen. And it's not an echo chamber as this isn't his Twitter page.

In the next election it's very likely he will be voted again given the support he has. Probably this time from both conservatives and many of the lefties.

No, I am not in the UK.
Having a look at the response by part of the public in relation to his suspension I can say with certainty he has a very good chance of getting elected as he now represents people from all parts of the ideological spectrum who didn't have a voice while the absurd Covid ideology was trying to impose itself in the last 3 years.

In addition another Councillor from the Conservative Party has been suspended for supporting Andrew Bridgen. Another thread I have made separately for him.

Andrew Bridgen suspension ‘frighteningly totalitarian’, says ex-Tory whip
13th January

Adam Holloway said stripping the whip from the North West Leicestershire MP was part of a “frighteningly totalitarian, woke way of looking at the world”.

The Gravesham MP, who served as a government whip for three months during the overlap between Boris Johnson and Liz Truss’ administrations, said he did not agree with Bridgen’s views on the coronavirus vaccine

But Holloway hit out at what he said amounted to a loss of freedom of speech by removing the Tory whip from him.

Holloway, speaking to GB News, said Bridgen should be “allowed” to speak his views about vaccines, even if they were “completely wrong”.

He told fellow Tory MPs and presenters Esther McVey and Philip Davies: “Why can’t people have different views, even if they’re crazy views and they’re completely wrong?

“For Andrew Bridgen to lose the whip is another example of the Tory party going down this, to me, frighteningly totalitarian woke way of looking at the world.”

Another ex Conservative Politician who strongly disagrees with the woke crowd and the totalitarian state.

I'm all for free speech even if they are "crazy views and they're completely wrong".

By the way, here in the UK, we do not live in a "totalitarian state".

Feel free to disagree.

Is that your view? It seems to be one of the views of an ex member of the parliament which I have linked.

Here is what Adam Holloway said (link above)

He told fellow Tory MPs and presenters Esther McVey and Philip Davies: “Why can’t people have different views, even if they’re crazy views and they’re completely wrong?

“For Andrew Bridgen to lose the whip is another example of the Tory party going down this, to me, frighteningly totalitarian woke way of looking at the world.”

The UK has been infected by the woke ideology and you are in the right path.
