Toronto paramedic fired for not following the science

The story starts about a year ago and on the 3rd of November 2021 we have the first coverage of this case. Mrs Scarlett Martyn has been saving lives for 23 years and she is 44 years old.

Not long after the article was written Mrs Martyn was fired together with hundreds of other city employees for 'failing to comply with the Covid mandates'. She was fired back in January 2022.



Almost a year later and things have changed a lot as Toronto ends mandatory vaccinations for city workers and the city offered to reinstate hundreds of workers who didn't comply with their vaccine mandates.

Scarlett Martyn, a longtime Toronto paramedic fired by the city for failing to get vaccinated against COVID-19, isn’t sure she wants her old job back.

“None of us will ever feel the same about the city again,” Martyn said Tuesday after the city announced that its vaccine requirement for city staff will end Dec. 1 — and it offered to to reinstate about 350 unionized employees terminated last January.

“I think there’s a lot of healing to be done — these employees aren’t jumping up and down and saying ‘Yay, you’ll have us back,’” said Martyn, who unsuccessfully argued that natural immunity from having had COVID-19 sufficiently protected her fellow paramedics and members of the public.

Another story, among the many, which shows clearly that the campaign to vaccinate everyone and everything was absurd and ludicrous. Having no basis in science and medicine and no basis in any data and evidence. A political campaign which targeted every city worker and asked for compliance and blind obedience.

The mandates were justified on the false premise of the 'vaccines' preventing or reducing significantly transmission and infection, but it was known to be false after a year of vaccinations and was already known much earlier than this.

We note that Mrs Martyn argued to remain in her position on the basis of natural immunity which was ignored as if it didn't exist... or was downplayed so the pharmaceuticals can sell as many of their vaccines as they could and for the exercise in the blind obedience and compliance to succeed. We know for very long time now and long before these mandates came into existence that natural immunity was and still is superior to the protection offered by the products that have been rebranded as 'vaccines'. Actually there is no comparison between natural immunity and the protection offered by Pfizer, Moderna, and the rest.

Equally important are the observations by Mrs Martyn, who under normal circumstances has been vaccinated against other infectious agents due to her nature of her job, but in this case she observed that what was called 'rare' side effects and adverse reactions from the products wasn't so...rare...


Not only they have to reinstate these workers, but they need to issue an official apology and give them a generous compensation for the year they have been forced out of their profession because Toronto officials and politicians were busy following the 'science' at that time...

Obviously with the amount of information we have now, it's blatantly obvious.

You can also test for cellular immunity which is even more important than having antibodies in your blood. T-cell tests they are called.

However avoiding antibodies test was highly suspicious from the beginning. Being positive on an antibody test after being positive on a PCR Test clearly shows that you have dealt with the virus successfully and have developed natural immunity. Especially T and B cell immunity.

If she can find an occupation that meets her financial and spiritual requirements, more power to her. Issuing a political statement to shame an administration incapable of acknowledging or apologizing for their policies, is probably wasting her breath.

Speaking of science, here's a scientific report from the prestigious journal, Nature, from earlier this year:

"mRNA vaccine-induced antibodies more effective than natural immunity in neutralizing SARS-CoV-2 and its high affinity variants"

Abstract
"Several variants of SARS-CoV-2 have emerged. Those with mutations in the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE2) receptor binding domain (RBD) are associated with increased transmission and severity. In this study, we developed both antibody quantification and functional neutralization assays. Analyses of both COVID-19 convalescent and diagnostic cohorts strongly support the use of RBD antibody levels as an excellent surrogate to biochemical neutralization activities. Data further revealed that the samples from mRNA vaccinated individuals had a median of 17 times higher RBD antibody levels and a similar degree of increased neutralization activities against RBD-ACE2 binding than those from natural infections. ......"

Well I’ll be forwarding that to my vaccinated friends and acquaintances that have had Covid 2 or 3 times.

They thought something was amiss because may wife and I only had Covid once (mild) two years into this thing.

This study will make them feel much better.

That's one of the papers and is dully noted. However you may want to have a look at several other papers which show superiority of natural immunity over vaccine induced immunity.

Furthermore you need to use a bit of common sense in regards to what offers best and longer protection. The vaccine offers only protection against one antigenic site when the virus itself has I think 26 or 27 antigenic sites and there is nothing in comparison between developing immunity against the entire virus via natural infection and developing protection against the spike of virus.

No, I'm more of a "financial and spiritual success is the best payback" type of person. Petty journalism doesn't pay a red cent to political casualties and in the end, bills needs to be paid more than the health department needs to be humiliated.

It's also important to see the sample size from this study before anyone makes any conclusions. At the end it says the following:


Methods

Patient or blood donor samples
Serum samples were collected at convalescent donors with prior documented COVID-19 under the NIH clinical protocol (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier: NCT04360278). A total of 41 samples were prospectively collected from 33 donors who had confirmed COVID-19 (Supplementary Table 1). An additional were collected under the same protocol from 28 people who never had COVID-19 but completed two doses of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, either Pfizer or Moderna.

Additional samples from 38 patients were obtained from Department of Laboratory Medicine of NIH as diagnostics samples. The samples were selected based on the positive diagnoses and no personal or medical information was made available at any time for this research.

The conclusions of this paper are drawn on the basis of a sample size of...99 individuals..


33 who had Covid-19
28 who didn't have Covid-19 but were vaccinated
38 others with no medical information or personal information at anytime in this research

Note from my reply above that the study has come to this conclusion on the basis of a sample size of 99 individuals...

If you take a look at the largest studies in the world where the sample size is of the order of hundreds of thousands or millions such as the study in Israel or the one in New York & California (CDC report) you will see that natural immunity is superior as expected.

The rest as we say is history.

But on the basis of these false premises i.e that these products stop or significantly reduce transmission and infection and that natural immunity isn't a 'thing' many workers were forced out of their jobs. Which is just criminal.

I am sure that most are now convinced that SARS-CoV-2 is not a consequence of zoonosis.

I don't see it this way but the officials have 'offered' to reinstate hundreds of workers as it seems. Naming and shaming those who forced experienced and valuable workers out of their profession is the least she can do. They need to be taken to be sued and end up in jail.

It seems that firefighters have also been fired in the city of Toronto over the same ridiculous reason, i.e the 'vaccine'. However there are some good news on this just in the case above where there has been an offer to reinstate hundreds of city workers.
