In a sworn affidavit with the U.S. District Court of Northern California, FBI Special Agent Stephanie Minor — a domestic terrorism specialist assigned to the bureau’s San Francisco Field Office — described how the alleged assailant, 42-year-old Berkeley man David DePape, told police that he planned to take Speaker Pelosi hostage, interrogate her, and possibly break her kneecaps.

The Speaker was not at home at the time of the invasion.

The criminal complaint states that DePape broke through a rear glass door of the residence with a hammer that he later used to beat Paul Pelosi. He brought zip ties, tape, rope and gloves, as well.

According to an interview DePape gave to the San Francisco Police Department after his arrest last Friday, once he had Speaker Pelosi restrained, he was going to “talk to her.” If she told the “truth,” he was would release her, but if she “lied,” he would break “her kneecaps.” DePape described Speaker Pelosi as “‘leader of the pack’ of lies told by the Democratic Party,” the document notes.

In his interview, DePape also “explained that by breaking Nancy’s kneecaps, she would then
have to be wheeled into Congress, which would show other Members of Congress
there were consequences to actions.”

He further discussed a plan to use the speaker as a hostage to “lure another individual” to him. DePape brought a journal with him to the scene of the crime, and law enforcement have since confirmed that he had “a list of people he wanted to target.”

Paul Pelosi told officers that DePape, after entering the house and learning that the speaker wasn’t home, decided to wait for her to return, even though Pelosi had said she was away for several days. DePape confessed to police that he wanted to tie up Pelosi in order to sleep, and took out the twist ties to do so, but never did. Pelosi dialed 911 shortly after.

DePape told authorities that he didn’t flee after the emergency call was placed “because, much like the American founding fathers with the British, he was fighting against tyranny without the option of surrender.”

Special Agent Minor’s affidavit concluded that there is probable cause to believe that DePape intentionally assaulted Paul Pelosi and attempted to kidnap Speaker Pelosi. Today, prosecutors filed those two charges in federal court.

But it's not a stretch to suspect they were butt buddies that got in a fight over dope.

And I wouldn't be surprised to learn he was the same guy that was the unnamed witness in the car when Pelosi got the dui a couple months ago. Probably giving him a blowie at the time.

I mean you do see how sinister it would have to be for it to be a setup of some sort where her hubby gets whacked on the head? It doesn't make sense... so what's the motive and wouldn't you think it would have been better organized? How did they get DePape to play along?

I'm not buying any 'official account. There are ways to make someone relate a story exactly as you tell them too.

Maybe this time we're getting the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, but history certainly doesn't support those odds. We'll just have to wait until some anal-retentive slueth goes the long mile via FOIA.....if politicians don't get the act rendered impotent in time.

I believe a mad man did some dumb sh1t and got arrested. BUT I don't really buy the story of what transpired.
Seems very suspect to happen this close to midterms.......

Ohh and also I choose not to believe certain thins that don't jive with me.

The San Francisco DA just put her foot in her mouth too.

Not only did she describe exactly what happened, detail by detail, she threw in the motive at the end of her speech claiming that "Violance has no place in San Francisco or politics".

How exactly did she come to that conclusion? The guy is obviously a scumbag but even scumbags deserve equal justice under the law. How can he possibly have a fair trial when the DA already layed out the timeline of events and this was politically motivated?

So it takes an official sworn statement from a FBI Special Agent to make people automatically believe this whole story 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

North Korea style taped confession that they will have him act out and say whatever they want the narrative to be in order to plaster all over the news.

Can almost guarantee that picture is from when he was at the wedding thing done in sunny San Francisco for his former wife Ive seen other pics and he is wearing the exact same stuff.

This is a mockery of the San Francisco DA's remarks this evening.

Mr. Pelosi was woken by the sound of a break in at 2:13am. He was wearing a Garfield T-shirt that read "I need less week and more weekends" and plaid boxers which were red and black. He was confronted on the third floor by the attacker who was weilding an Irwin, fiberglass, general purpose, claw, 16 oz hammer. Mid attack, Mr. Pelosi had to use the restroom which he was granted by the attacker. He found his straight talk Nokia C100, 32GB, Blue smartphone in the bathroom and called 911. The attacker then brought him downstairs via his Savaria home elevator which complies with ASME A17.1/CSA B44 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators.

Once on the main floor, the attacker waited for police to arrive. Once enough Boblov C18 mini body camera's were present, the attacker struck Mr. Pelosi in the head with the hammer. The police quickly brought the suspect into custody.

All SimpliSafe Home Security camera's failed at the same time and body cam footage from the police officers is under going forensic study.

Political violence will not be tolerated in San Francisco.
