Here in Victoria straya, the Andrews gubment, have promised if they win the election the will buyback the distribution network, as there are many coal fired powers stations closing over the next few years.

And as on the below page there are numerous solar farms slated to be delivered or in operation.
www.planning.vic.gov.au...

Though I would hazard a guess and he probably has offered the current generators to take over the state run solar and wind farms.

Considering how widespread they are located in Victoria, instead of an operator having 1 power plant to maintain.

Now they have expenses for staffing, qualifying specialists electricians, equipment, replacing panels, batteries accriss 30 or more sites.

K cannot understand how this is going to lower power prices, as maintenance would be prohibitive.

Another useless policy, that’s going to cost more than a billion just to buy the network back, let alone ongoing costs.

Though reading the below comments in the age, people can’t see the reality.

Better stock up on candles. Up here in QLD Palachook has had the brilliant idea of building a pumped hydro dam in the pioneer valley, one of the most beautiful blue-water river systems in Australia. Home to platypus and many other endangered species.....oh and she's going to drown the lovely little town of Netherdale under 100 feet of water., the residents of which only found out when they saw it on the news. So instead of the wonderful view up the rainforest valley to the Eungella Range national park. there'll be a 60m high concrete wall. F#*k this "climate change/net zero" bullsh!t. ....sorry for the rant...

Why not do it now. Or last month / year / election?

Just more fraud acted upon the people of this great lucky country.

Speaking of feelin lucky ... when do these creeps go down?

In South Aussie my Solar panels send Kilowatts to the grid and I get $0.06 for each one.

After paying me $0.06, The money launders sell that to someone else for $0.34.

This is just theft!

I wonder what would happen in this country if on a hot day, every private solar panel got turned off for an hour or so. I would take out their precious grid in the first few seconds.

Wishful thinking perhaps.

This whole net zero crap irritates me as well, it’s a falsehood.

There needs to be a balance of dinosaur juice cars as well as electric.

It’s just another form of control, to jack up cost of living, make things dknexprnsivdvyou can’t go somewhere and getaway on a holiday as no lne can afford it. Or yourctesja will get a flat and you can’t charge the battery.

The world has gone nuts.

He is z desperate man the dan, can’t even get ambulance ratios right, people are dying, cause of his big project spending.

FFS people for some reason love the turd.

Agreed the feed in tariffs are a scam, I cant justify the cost, k keep the blinds open until it gets a bit dark, then put on one light in the lounge room.

Though solar panels only have a finite life span, they supposedly can’t be re-cycled.

My mate at work spent thousands and only gets the same feed in rate.

It’s lame.

Totally agree we are sacrificial lambs, here in Melbourne we are having floods in inner city areas.

Our Victorian gubment, are forcing all these policies on renewable energy, banning natural gas in mew homes, prices on utilities are jacking up.

Utilities are owned by foreign companies, they are boosting prices, and profiting as much as possible before coal and gas are made illegal.

I would love to know cause of the policies which make it look like dan is doing something environmentally friendly, is a deliberat ploy to Line his own pockets from corrupt kickbacks.

They are taking a privatized, big profit model : and switching it over to a public, money-losing venture.

They will have sponsored citizens groups, shouting down anything like my claim, and touting how it is somehow a victory for the little guy over the big guys.

It's not a victory.

Also : now the ones shutting the power off will be Government™, not some Corporation™ with a fake squeaky-clean reputation.

Privatized profits vs. public losses.

That's what this is really about.

In a scene from a plantation : Governments™ are the ones in the fields and shops,
whipping the slaves, and intimidating them into working hard, and harder, and harder...
The Slave-Drivers™.

Most of the slaves have no idea who the real Boss-man™ is, raking-in the profits of their labour.
