Strategy means nothing if you aren't prepared for the fear of real bullets flying in your direction. Real combat is an emotional avalanche, and having to act, no matter how the emotions are affecting you. There's no time for being afraid when a split second is the difference between whether you die or the guy pointing a gun at you does.

The feeling of oppression in the first world is a state of mind. Once you stop watching mass media, get off social media, and just go outside, live life, talk to your neighbors, that feeling is miles away.

It also helps to know about history, and what real oppression is. Not agreeing with your elected officials, being worked up about bills that won't be signed into law, and other things aren't real oppression. Taxation is theft, but it is not oppression.

We are not being hauled off by the score to secret prisons, to be interrogated and hanged in a cellar and buried in an unmarked grave. We don't have to fear the secret police, the NKVD. we have no stazi. No one's breaking into our houses and chopping off our hands or killing our families because of our religions.

The only people who wish for war are those who have never seen real violence, or have been indoctrinated to only know how to exist within it. The only people who wish for civil war... well. cant see a civil war in any modern state thats not akin to the UKs NI troubles or not revolve round IEDs.. we've seen just how badly modern govs and military's fare against those tactics..

the issues with dividing societies is that is creates separate strands that turn into sectarianism which is were the entire west has ended up and to a point media/govs waging war against their own peoples is daft.

In hindsight we'll possibly come to the conclusion that is the legacy media driving the division for their own survival in a changing world rather than a nefarious plan to stoke conflict, our weak political leadership just lets it happen fo its own ends.

and many are going through a few days training and going to the front lines.. the west is relearning the skills to create volunteer armies in ways we've not since the 1940s.. at the moment it Ukrainians but it could be any country needing a volunteer army..

its been one of my solid reasons we'd not have a full scale civil conflict or outright war.. the west simply can't train/arm the numbers required to fight either.. now it can so thats a big worry.. part of the training revolves around the psychology of killing and how hard humans find killing other humans, its why we end up with small pro armies and not large conscript ones.

which is why the US is less recreating its civil conflict and more recreating the revolutionary one.. in the same way our world is more pre great war than pre ww2..its more first great depression than 2nd great depression (1930s)

We have a two tiered justice system. Just like all those scenarios you mentioned. The President labeled half the country the biggest threat to the country. The only reason we'd have a civil war is because people keep pushing for it rather than going to the table. The loudest bunch on each side makes it seem like our differences are so extreme. There is a moderate bunch, the largest group, who thinks both sides are out of line. Moderate Democrats think cancel culture and extreme acceptance is out of hand. Moderate Republicans do not think Trump is a savior.

Stop promoting civil war and promote discourse and civility. Stop pointing fingers and realize both extreme sides are wrong. Our differences are not enough for a civil war.

No American side wins with a Civil War. Be careful what you wish for.

The globalists will win. The whole point of the civil war they are causing is to thin the herd and take out anyone who is a threat or undesirable on both sides, then they can swoop in as saviours and bring their new twisted brand of "peace".

If it were just the US fighting it out. The left would likely lose, but the left is larger than the US. We'd end up fighting a large chunk of the world, not just American leftists.

Totally agree. The flight or flight mechanism is real. People won't know until they have to use it.
Look at all the shooting, how many people, even cc are shooting back? Some but not a lot. More people flee.

Soldiers/militias have survival instinct and weaponry knowledge, but… some of them aren’t too smart.

As retired military, a geek/gamer and highly educated I am guessing you didnt mean it but that statement is pretty fricking insulting.

Many of us have degrees, are also gamers and have been trained to do multiple jobs in the military, even if you look at combat mos's you will find some that require a high degree of intelligence required to be effective at their job.

Mobs do good when they can dictate the where and the when and how ready the opponent is for the fight, not when the trained people dictate the where and the when.
