According to the above article, the "Patriot Act" was weaponized by Obama-Holder against political enemies. The Trump raid is that weaponization in action.

Trump is shattering all fund-raising records right now. Maybe some of that money can be used to sue the Government? If not, make it legal for him. A one-man carve out.

You should expect it when you are a criminal. Indite and lock her up.

It's being reported that there was a grand jury subpoena in June. Which was when the Counterintelligence team went down there to get documents. Some were returned. After speaking with people at MAL it was determined that there were more that were not turned over. Hence a search warrant this time around. They also requested surveillance footage to see who has been accessing the materials.

So they tried to get all the materials in February, June and finally got them with the search warrant in August.

The FBI search at Mar-a-Lago this week came months after federal investigators served an earlier grand jury subpoena and took away sensitive national security documents from former President Donald Trump's property during a June meeting

Yes mate but what will they Find , What were they looking for ?

Do they even know ?

Clearly they were convinced something was there why else raid the home of a former POTUS , but as of yet it's crickets in the Media as to what they were there for.

Even the Warrant itself is still a mystery.

and as we have heard, they had full access to get anything they wanted back then. So we are to believe that the investigators were so stupid, they forgot the important stuff and had to go back with force to cover their mistakes?

I would have to look for a link. It's my understanding that NARA or whoever determined classified including top Secret documents were missing. They went to Trump. Either he claimed he didn't have them or know or something. They got a subpoena. Some items were returned. They inventoried them. Items were still missing. Since all items were not returned with a subpoena and they recieved info from person or persons at MAL, they felt there may be evidence of a crime and proceeded to get the warrant.

Under all the noise going on, this appears to be what occurred.

Yea, I think they were after the "smoking gun" in the safe, only to find it was a set up and their spy was duped. Which makes them look like incompetent fools. They have all the evidence they need, if there was a crime, charge him. If not, look stupid and welcome President Trump in 2024

time will tell. But they did have full access and full cooperation in June. So either Trump hid his love letters to rocket boy away, or they were totally inept.

That has not been claimed by anyone except who, Eric? His attorneys know what they were seeking, what they found, and what crime that is believed to have occurred. Hence the distraction from them not releasing the warrant on their own. Monday a request by outside sources goes before the court to unseal it.

I guess the thing is, they didn't have full access, otherwise they would have had it all. For some reason he did not want to hand it over. Why? No idea. It should not take requests, then a subpoena and finally have to do an official search to get the government property back, but that's my opinion.
