I didn't say I was good with it. I found it frustrating at the time, because something was wrong with my domestic internet (or was it my laptop?) and I wanted to post. I reported the event on this thread for the sake of improving our own knowledge about why these things happen.

Forget ATS for the moment, what else are they restricting MB's access to?

That said I wouldn't want to jump the gun either, give it time

Is she happy and content or at least is she getting better? that's the important part.

Strange comment Terp, as a Christian who haunts this site (one of many) what do you think we think of people who don’t allow others freedom to access ats?
I am guessing, hoping that there is a valid reason that she has been asked not to access ats, possibly because she needs to break away from a bit of doom and gloom for awhile
If we are honest, it’s not the most uplifting place at times
If she is going through emotional issues, a bit of positive reinforcements are probably not a bad thing, well I am hoping
Maybe Mamabeth needs a break from turmoil, life, drama and refocus on what is good in life
Anyway, Mama has access to friends as this thread clearly indicate
I would think if she needed help, she has access to that help and just needs to ask

Interesting how important this community is to some, maybe even a bit sad even that we as a community have become like this
Sometimes human contact off-screen is important
Finally, don’t think many on this site would be to easily persuaded into something dodgy, thinking most people on here are very critical and cautious in what we believe and choose

Religious groups and cults are specialized to find people who have suffered greatly. She seems to have lost her freedom of speech and freedom of opinion, which to us loudly speaks that she is not in right company.

I hope she has close friends, relatives those who have been in her life long time and reach to them and ask for help. They are her anchor outside this religious group. After talking with issues she is experiencing they should contact police or organization who support victims of religious abuse

After the death of several of my family members you wouldn’t believe the slime that crawled out of the woodwork.

Knowing nothing of said situation I will make no judgements. But if someone wants to get around an IP block it’s not that difficult. There are dictatorships that censor entire swaths on the internet from entire groups of people and there are still ways to get around it. The easiest way is using a VPN. A simple and free service like Windscribe can be installed on any device and is extremely easy to set up and use. Just saying.

As long as MamaBeth is OK with the restrictions we should be OK with it too , all that matters is that she's well and happy within herself and that would seem to be the case.

My ATS still works with VPN engaged.

Generally slows it down to a crawl all the same.

What commercial VPN did they block?

I can no longer access ATS using the Avast VPN. My employer provided VPN does still work.
