US Capitol Police arrest Colbert staffers at US capital

The U.S. Capitol Police arrested a group of staffers with CBS's "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" after they allegedly illegally entered a U.S. House of Representatives office building on Thursday night, Fox News has learned.

The group of nine people were arrested in the Longworth House Office Building after being escorted out of the Jan. 6 committee hearing earlier in the day because they did not have proper press credentials, according to sources.

The same group resurfaced later on Thursday night after the Capitol complex was closed to public visitors and Fox News is told that they took videos and pictures around the offices of two Republican members of Congress, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy R-Calif. and Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo.

Sounds like an.......insurrection?!?

I wonder of Schiff will face any backlash.

On jan 6th people were supposedly busting open doors and windows to get in yet these 9 can just walk right into the capital building after hours.

If they aren't gulaged like the J6 political prisoners then the system is truly #ed.

This would pretty much destroy the left's narrative of the sanctity of the capitol building, my thoughts initially

I bet Colbert's ratings are down, this smells like a publicity stunt can you imagine pulling in 14 million a year and being ranked 370th best show.

I saw one of the pics circulating on Twitter. It was so sick and depraved that I tend to think it is photoshopped because if it is real then Hunter belongs in a wood chipper, I just can't imagine how even he could get a pass on that.
