This song / artist must have never made the radio or MTV in the 80's because I have never heard of her or this song.

Have I been Mandela'ed?

It must be a Mandela thing because I recall "Running Up That Hill" being in constant rotation on MTV here stateside in '85.

Remember The Hit Man and Her late nights or the Word, those were two seminal shows with the Word frequently going too far but they both had some great music.

Alright, Alright says Terry Christian "shes a top lad" but there was no stopping her once she had a a drink or 10

I regard Kate as the female David Bowie. Very creative in her music.

She got Donald Sutherland to appear in this video.

This was a big hit in The US by someone called Maxwell. Kate wrote and performed the original.

With Peter Gabriel

Yeah, you got Mandela - ed Im in full agreeance with Underpass61 I was in high school in the 80's here in the states and I can clearly remember this song was huge, on radio, MTV, it was playing all over, etc. and what a babe Kate Bush was.

I loved Kate Bush's music.

All of her music told stories, and not just stories about herself. They weren't the standard trite 'cookie cutter' pop songs.

I had a crush on her back when I was a small boy

I think every boy of a certain age had a crush on Kate!

UK satire Site The Daily Mash has even picked up on that .... Dad being weirdly possessive over Kate Bush
