So many fantastic stories!
I was afraid the 100 word limit would kill the contest. Personally, I was worried I couldn't come up with anything within that limitation, but I'm
glad I was SO wrong. A word limit really works and makes both writing and reading less stressful all round.
The amount of stories submitted thus far got me thinking if more prize categories would work in similar future contests to stimulate even more
participation. For instance, in addition to the winner and runners-up prizes, maybe add one for average highest score for multiple entries. A median
result should be fair enough, balancing out whether someone submits 2 or 100 stories.
Also, as I was crap at history, I often got the Wooden Spoon in school. Perhaps it would be a nice way of acknowledging even the lowest scoring
stories... at least for effort.
