Hello ATS!

A week after the start of the Ukrainian operation on Zmeinny Island, the analysis of all sources, both official and war correspondents, I want to tell you the following picture of what happened. I did not publish anything before on this topic until the situation cleared up.

So analysis.

The idea of the operation to capture Serpentine came to the Ukrainian authorities from London. His goal was to overshadow the celebration of Victory Day in Russia, the DPR and LPR, and also to report at least some of his victory.

The assault on the island began on the evening of May 7 after a long reconnaissance of Serpentine from Ukrainian UAVs.
With the onset of darkness, 3 Ukrainian Su-24 bombers with a covering Ukrainian Air Force Su-27 fighter, flying up to the island at extremely low altitudes, launched a bombing strike. The duty aviation forces of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed all enemy aircraft over the sea.

After the strike, the enemy sent the first landing troops to the island. The special forces units of the main intelligence department of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry on three landing assault boats of the Centaur project approached the Serpent, having managed to land 24 saboteurs. All Ukrainian boats were flooded, eliminating the possibility of evacuation. During the ensuing battle, the Russian military managed to push the enemy's special forces to the coast and destroy them there.

After that, the Russian troops defiantly left the island under the supervision of NATO satellites. Kyiv decided to take advantage of the situation, made another attempt to storm and fell into a trap.

Under the cover of a Mi-24 helicopter, 3 Mi-8 transport-landing troops with special forces on board advanced to the island. In one of the Mi-8s was the coordinator of the landing units - the Deputy Commander of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for Aviation - Colonel Igor Bedzai. The entire helicopter group, when approaching the island and over the island, was destroyed by Russian Aerospace Forces fighters. The pilots, the landing force and the coordinator of the operation were killed.

Another 6 helicopters for the landing of the second wave were in full readiness at a military airfield in the Odessa region. The airfield was struck by high-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which destroyed 6 Ukrainian Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters.

Within two days, the aviation of the Black Sea Fleet and air defense systems destroyed 30 Ukrainian UAVs in the Zmeinoye area, including 9 attack "Bayraktar-TB2".

The action invented by the West led to the senseless death of 50 to 150 Ukrainian militants and servicemen of the elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the loss of 4 aircraft, 10 helicopters, 3 boats and 30 UAVs.

Today, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed video footage from Zmeinny Island and the corpses of the dead Ukrainian military.

t.me...

And for the British members of my "fan club" I want to inform you that the frigate "Admiral Makarov" and the supply and logistics vessel "Vsevolod Bobrov", about the death of which some members of the forum so stubbornly assured us, are safe, safe and sound at the pier in port of the city of Sevastopol.

Thank you.

Curiously no mention of Russian losses , your analysis seems a little one sided so here's at least one Russian helicopter and its crew destroyed to add to the list , just for statistical purposes.

And a landing ship plus a building.

And for the British members of my "fan club" I want to inform you that the frigate "Admiral Makarov" and the supply and logistics vessel "Vsevolod Bobrov",

Although the "Vsevolod Bobrov" is a bit toasted since its mystery fire.

I already know about the position of the Admiral Makarov and the reason for its location following the loss of the Moskva , I'd also be cautious about believing numbers quoted by the Kremlin.

After that, the Russian troops defiantly left the island under the supervision of NATO satellites.

Sorry , couldn't help it.

Yes, even in Ukraine they have already admitted that a Ukrainian UAV filmed the death of not a Russian helicopter and a boat, but a Ukrainian one.
"Vsevolod Bobrov" stands absolutely intact, shines with white and blue coloring under loading.
Do not believe Ukrainian propaganda, even if you really want to.

Here, for example, what happened yesterday in the Malinovka area. Ukrainian propaganda is silent about this.

Yesterday, from 09.00, the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to hit the flank of the Russian group in the direction of Gulyaipole-Malinovka. This is the district of Zaporozhye.

Several groups came out with the support of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles. They could not enter the joints between the Russian units. Active actions continued until the evening.

Results. The Armed Forces of Ukraine had no tactical success. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are confirmed: 30 tanks, 11 infantry fighting vehicles, 2 armored personnel carriers, 2 Grad MLRS, irretrievable losses - more than 300 people. The figures are very serious, but nonetheless.

There are also losses on the Russian side - irretrievable -15, sanitary - 11 people. No technical data available.

This guy lives in a fantasy world now, attacking Snake Island would be fruitless when there's no way to hold it. Ukraine just bombed it and Russia came up with this story to save face.

Ukraine tried to assault and take snake Island which is a confirmed fact. In the footage they show a helicopter deploying troops who are taking a perimeter defense around it.

It gets blown up.

Why would Russia be trying to take Snake Island? Put two and two together.

Very interesting, keep posting even if just to annoy the Ukrainian nazi fanboys.
They are so sure the stories that the BBC tells them are true it's scary.
Yet they claim nothing any Russian says can be true.
Boris' sheep that's what they are.

Russia already took snake island and have been defending it ever since due to its proximity to the important port city of Odessa.
2+2=4.

Russia already took snake island

That is exactly my point. They already possessed the island so why would you look at that video of a helicopter being blown up and the clear signs of soldiers deploying to a hostile site and think those were Russians.

I’m wondering how much I gave links to Ukrainian sources here, but you still accused me of Kremlin propaganda.
Now you are again demanding something from me, again Ukrainian sources. In the end, anyway, it will be declared Russian propaganda. Tell me, why should I look for sources now, if you still don’t believe in it and accuse me? What's the logic here?

P.S. There, a comrade with eyebrows, like the General Secretary of the CPSU Brezhnev, again started his hurdy-gurdy "you are all lying")))) There is a clinical case, no matter how many facts you present, he will still write this phrase))))

360% perimeter.

Watch the video, and watch the soldiers take defensive positions.

Watch the helicopter get blown to bits.

Looks to me like they're just taking cover because they know they're exposed to air strikes. Even so, it's more like 100 degree perimeter. Are you talking about the same video, the first one Gortex posted? Maybe you should look more carefully.

If they were from Ukrainian sources you would be backing up the claim you made that the Ukrainians had admitted they were theirs , why would I accuse you of Kremlin propaganda ?

Now you are again demanding something from me, again Ukrainian sources.

You said in relation to the videos of troop and hardware destruction that Ukraine had admitted they were theirs , asking for a citation of that claim seems reasonable given the situation.

Tell me, why should I look for sources now, if you still don’t believe in it and accuse me? What's the logic here?

I assumed you had a source as you made the claim , perhaps your reticence is because the source you relied on for the claim is in fact just more Kremlin propaganda.

360% is standard but if you noticed it wasn't needed because one side is to the sea. No possibility of an attack from that direction that a foot soldier can handle.

Being exposed to airstrikes would mean you haul ass to cover not lay down in a prone position on the ground making yourself a more visible target.

Their actions were those of soldiers preparing for action coming from the ground, not the sky.

lol, so why is one of the foot soldiers in this video facing the sea, instead the land behind him where no one is covering?
No offense, but do you think it's possible that you're too emotionally invested in this war, so you're kind of fantasizing things? Maybe take a break?

Being exposed to airstrikes would mean you haul ass to cover not lay down in a prone position on the ground making yourself a more visible target.

A visible target to what? Do you think there's a sniper hanging from a drone trying to shoot them or something? They lie down because that minimizes the chance of taking shrapnel from bombs, shells. That won't be aimed at an individual fighter but the whole group.

Even Radio Liberty writes that it is impossible to determine whose helicopter is Ukrainian or Russian.

www.svoboda.org... ayavlyayut-o-poteryah-protivnika-u-ostrova-zmeinyy/31839840.html

It's even easier on a boat. Russia does not have such boats, this is the Ukrainian "Centaur". From Ukraine to Serpentine only 35 kilometers. From Crimea to Serpentine - 10 times more on the open sea. Landing craft are not suitable for sailing on the high seas with waves greater than 3 points. Why would Russia send a small landing craft over 400 kilometers if there are larger vessels there?
Once again, the boat on the video is the destroyed Ukrainian "Centaur". If you think otherwise, then identify its Russian type.

I guess there are some weapons that rain down from above rather than explode on the ground, to be fair. Maybe white phosphorus. But far less common.
