Monday morning with body aches and that taste in your throat of a cold coming on. So I went and got tested.
For gods sake WHY? Do you get tested every time you have a sniffle?
This is ridiculous. I will never, ever get tested for that garbage, just like I've never been tested for the flu... or a cold.

We are probably an anomaly. We were at ground zero in New York City early January 2020. We came home and my husband came down with it. The Dr. said it was just a virus. It was really bad. He sounded like he had pneumonia. He almost didn't make it. He came down with sepsis, a staff infection, was hospitalized, operated on. His Dr. convinced him to get a Pneumonia shot so of course he caught pneumonia. He finally recovered somewhat in October.
He has been left with severe long haul.
During this entire time the Dr. kept harassing him to get the jab despite his serious allergies to the ingredients. Throwing caution to the wind the doc said who cares.
Meanwhile I did not have any symptoms, thank goodness, so that I could look after him.
It has been a long two years.

because my son tested positive, and I don't want to spread this around to others.

But you're ok with spreading the flu around to others?
See my point?

So I called my wife. She then organized testing from our doctor, whom she used to work for and is friends with, and we went. She needs to know her status for her current job. Later that day, I started feeling a little worse and I could feel the fatigue and a slight cough. So I wouldn't go into public like that, regardless of any testing. But since I did test, and I do know, the rule of thumb currently is 5 days away from folks. So I plan to not go around my customers until next week. If I feel better tomorrow, I do have some work I can do where people aren't involved.

No...
Does your wife's employer allow people to come to work sick, only unless it is covid? Does your wife knowingly go to work when she's sick as long as a test that is highly prone to false positives and negatives says she doesn't have covid?

I told her what I wrote here and she just shook her head. She did tell me I look much better today, than I did yesterday.
I told her I put on my sexy underware today, and I'm glad she noticed.

You just got the 4 pills to take at once? Not a course over several days?
I hope you feel better fast!
Other things to think about trying: Black or green tea, nasal sanitization, germ killing gargle, low-dose aspirin if appropriate for you, black seed oil, olive leaf extract, tonic water with quinine...lol...I'll stop now..
