Amerika invades countries since 1991 original Iraq war and continues to do so for the past 30 years on lies and bullsnip stealing and consolidating all resources along the way = NO WAR

Russia counters Amerikas tinkering in geopolitics and pushes back against NATO expansion on its borders = WAR

Y’all have some real effed up logic hey I’m not the only one who thinks Ametika has been this earths real terrorists since I came upon this earth 40 years ago

F*CK AMERIKA AND F*CK NATO

Honestly in war first things bombed should be the media who produce this BS THEATRE

Here is a source for OP's quotes (I think this is originally from Reuters but they are behind a paywall). Note that the use of the term 'Jihadis' is conspicuously absent. These seem to be mercs from Syria. Could be Jihadis. Could be Russia's version of Blackwater.

Nobody should be sending outside forces to fight in this conflict.

That includes Putin.

That includes the West.

A cynical person might suspect that Putin is sending in "cannon fodder" that is comprised of people that are seen as problematic elements for Russia to deal with and allow to come back to their country. So if they end up getting killed or stranded there, it is one less potential issue for Russia to deal with.

It's all a game. Both sides (West and Russia) seem to have no problems putting weapons and (as Rambo would term them) "expendable" assets into the theater. Seems like the desire is for this fighting to drag on, but in a way that doesn't drain important resources from either side. The losers are the Ukrainian people.

I’d be very surprised if it was 3,000 Assad loyal Syrians at best

Which will only see a renewed offensive by anti Assad FSA

NATO should just take out Assad now, arm the FSB with some long range fires capabilities to hit Tartus

Either way the goal has to be attack Russia until Putin is gone, remove Assad and open Qatari gas fields to Europe

Yahoo has a statement from Iraqi militia joining Putin “ A chance to fight imperialism “

I hope these aren’t the same Iraqis that just rolled over and let al-qaeda take their country

Canadia n Sniper Called 'One of the World's Deadliest' Heads to Help Ukraine.

Yea yea, I know, Canada is all in on the Ukraine thingy.

He was one of our best, hope he does ok. Respect to Veterans always.

I just see this as going back to 1990 and a whole lot more nuanced and sophisticated of an issue than just "Russia bad" "NATO good".

Vince McMahon couldn't have put on a better match, it's like a tag team of Ivan Koloff and the Iron Sheik.

The parallels between the fall of Rome and what's happening right now is almost comical at this point...

You really don't need to pick sides. Why not just "Russia defending against NATO good", "Russia bombing pregnant women in a foreign country bad".
