When I was a kid vaccines, depending on what you were getting lasted 10 years to a lifetime; and you did not contract the disease you were immunized for.Now they obviously only last a few months and you can catch what you are supposedly being protected against and yet there is not one mainstream journalist on the planet that questions these things.

Exactly. I am not antivax. I have had vaccinations through my life. The most recent was tetanus which I reluctantly got because I had a scare with a rusty gash in my leg. I was still pissed though that I couldn't get just tetanus, they had to have the pertussis and diptheria added to it. I don't know why that is.
The flu shot is another one that I don't get. I never wanted it, and never felt the need for it. I had the flu once in my life that I know of. It was awful. That was the year they were all about the swine flu. I used to get so sick of everyone saying I should get the flu shot. I used to work in a pharmacy (a tech) and they would push so hard for us to get so many people to get the shots. I was pressured by the pharmacist to get one too and he seemed to not even understand my reasons for not getting one.
