Seems a lot of people these days are worried about 'overpopulation' but thought the vid below contained some important factual info about the mythology of the subject and the subversive propaganda put out by misanthropic Malthusian cultists.

When it comes to the root cause of 'overpopulation' propaganda then this short vid from the Population Research Institute also does a good job of explaining how a deluded vicar (named Thomas Malthus) once did some simple math in his head about food.. and then concluded that killing poor people was the right thing to do.

That vid also mentioned how 1960's author Paul Ehrlich eagerly took up and promoted the propaganda in his book 'The Population Bomb' and some further research below exploring how his predictions have been 'so remarkably, consistently and staggeringly wrong'. 

Why is it that this entomologist has become such a superstar of science, received so many accolades and awards, and wielded such influence over the public conversation on population despite being so remarkably, consistently, staggeringly wrong about the issues he presumes to lecture the public on?

PP's Bill Gates Senior (Co Chair of the Gates Foundation) was also a rabid advocate of Thomas Malthus and there's some interesting info below about a secret meeting between David Rockefeller, Bill Gates, Ted Turner, George Soros, Warren Buffett, Michael Bloomberg etc. which took place in Manhattan on May 5th, 2009.

One would have to turn to print sources to discover that the meeting was held at the personal residence of Sir Paul Nurse, then-president of Rockefeller University; that the invitation to the gathering was co-written by Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and David Rockefeller; or that the aim of the meeting was "to consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world's population."

The Rockefellers' Population Council and other research organizations joined with the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1972 to create a Task Force on Vaccines for Fertility Regulation. By 1995, they were able to report progress in "developing a prototype of an anti-hCG-vaccine," which works by combining an immunogen formed from a synthetic peptide of human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG)—a hormone secreted by the surface of the early embryo to remain implanted in the womb—with a toxoid carrier molecule. The vaccine stimulates an immune reaction, causing women to develop antibodies against the hormone, thus preventing them from carrying babies to term.

The nicer a country is to the population, the faster the country is damaged by overpopulation.

Some states used Covid-19 to get rid of their "extras" who were a drag on their generous systems.

I also often wonder if most people who believe this live in the vast and depressing metropolis's of the world. To them the world would seem over crowded. I think I read a good P.J. O'Rourke novel once on this issue where he stated (with facts and so on) that if the entire world lived like people do in Manhatten, that the entire human population could fit inside an area the size of the former Yugoslovia which was something like one half of a percent of the entire land area of the world.

Even in my little half acre of land, if I really put it to use and started canning I could make enough fruit and vegetables to feed my family every year. And if I added say 6 chickens to the mix I would also have a decent source of protein.

There are only two options. Civilisation becomes sustainable or it doesn't. If it does become sustainable it survives, if it doesn't become sustainable it dies. How it gets to either outcome is just commentary.

When both parents have to work, then that country will have less children. The benefit of a welfare state is that it is a system of population control and nothing more. Ever wonder why the education system in many parts of America is failing its students. Long term effect is ... a welfare child in the making.

Excellent collection of information.

Makes it clear that we are dealing with an actual cult mentality and why we can never have an honest conversation about immigration without the shriekers calling you names.

There's people in the UK constantly complaining that their kids can't get a decent job or that they'll never afford their own home......but they are absolutely pro mass immigration.

The younger ones say there's too many people so they aren't having kids but they are also pro mass immigration.

Apparently, you're an evil racIst if you ask any questions but they're not in the least racist to use people as cheap labour while berating their fellow countrymen for daring to exist.

You have it. That is what we do. Down to three chickens from 13 I've had since 2019.
I have tried to explain the Malthusian's approach to people in the past and their eyes glaze over and they thought I was crazy. More than one knows better now. Hear me now, but you will likely be believing me later is all I can hope for now. I am not pushy about it. I just want their brain cells tickled to decide if I was crazy to say that or not when I do that. That is a good ice breaker for later discussions.

The people with the most wealth and power have never been the best and brightest no they are mostly psychopaths of avg intelligence at best

Population control is on there agenda for self preservation

Its also pointless population decreases if there's less environmental stress humans use reproduction as a means to ensure survival of the human race as a whole if the wealthy stoped making the world a worse place the population growth would slow to a stop natraly

It's shocking how few people understand that all the "overpopulation" buzz is literally just eugenics. Teenagers will rattle off statistics and rhetoric about overpopulation after coming through the public school system with 0 understanding that it's all just Malthusianism with an incredibly thin veneer of climate consciousness.

I'm writing a short book about it now actually and it was shocking for me when researching just how close modern climate crisis spiels are to classic eugenics. The only difference being that they don't verbalize which types of people they think should stop reproducing (as often).

I disagree on that one. When there is nothing to do but have sex for fun then that's what people do. Overpopulation happens when people are bored out of their minds. Nothing to occupy their free time of value.

The parallels are remarkable, as are the contradictions.

Had a conversation with a friends daughter a while ago and explained some of the information above to her and the conversation turned from numbers to the availability of resources.

The generation she is part of think that it's harmful to the environment to have children and that it is not financially acceptable.
They also seem to insist that it's vital to keep up with all the latest consumer goods on the market and have to be out and about seeing friends, being entertained and spending their hard earned cash as fast as possible. Cars, tech, clubs, restaurants etc etc.

They've been taught that having a child would lead to a hum-drum existence with no rewards.
Rushing around working and consuming in a continuous cycle, on the other hand, is seen as the ideal lifestyle.

It's always those "other" people who are at fault for environmental problems.
