As far as Covid goes, I don't think it has anythoing to do with cowardice, I think it's well planned to gain control.

On any issue we can focus on the bad, or we can acknowledge BOTH good and bad, and, that has nothing to do with a persons age. I'm not as confident that our generation would do any better...

ETA: Hindsight is 20/20....I can't argue that there is a lot that could have been done differently, but, who knows?

People who believed debt was a road to prosperity.

People who believed that saddling the future with today's problems was a strategy.

I've heard the term "kick the can down the road" since I was a kid. I'm 37 years old and I've been hearing that phrase since I was 5 or 6 with regard to some of these problems.

Who's been in charge? Who voted them in? Who raised the millennials?

I carried their war on terror on my back.

I carried their 2008 financial crisis on my back.

I will carry their trillions in spending on broke programs I will never benefit from, but they do.

This system is set up by them to extract as much wealth from me as possible before they kick the bucket and now some of them want to segregate society to protect themselves from COVID.

I'm still speaking to a specific set of people who refused to take responsibility.

Not everyone in that generation fits that bill.

But many do. It's the reason we have a nation that is overrun with communist ideas. A generation of people who fell asleep at the wheel. We say it all the time but never bother to identify who that actually refers to.

I'd agree with that, but what country(s) do you consider outpacing the US and what are they? My guess is they are more fascist than anything.
So one can't say being fasicist is keeping us from being prosperous.

I used to think this too, however, seeing people of all adult ages willfully & willingly complying, I now realise that every generation is comprised of a majority of weak minded automatons that would give up everything, as they are too fearful and have no ability to see & face reality for what it is.

But I am not only criticizing the old here. I have criticized and continue to criticize my generation as well for much of the same cowardice because even though the previous generations screwed us, we don't have to keep the cycle going.

We don't have to be a majority compliant sheep population.
