The verse says, kill an entire town if even ONE person believes in another God. It does not say, if they all do.

Edit: Meaning, it doesn't matter if some of them don't worship other Gods. Kill them all for merely living near someone who does.

No if you read the passage it is saying that the entire town converts to the degenerate system.

But again, this system of purification is over-ridden by Jesus's act of purification once and for all. The fallen world is no longer doomed to these sorts of things because Jesus takes on the warranted repercussion of all humankind. Unless they still ignore the gift freely given to them.

Interpret how you want.

Have a good evening.

Okay coop, seems I was wrong on that one. I went to double check the verse, and it did indeed refer to an entire town being lead astray.

I stand corrected on that one.

It's not just my interpretation, this was the whole foreshadowing of the Messiah predicted by the entirety of the Jewish law. It insisted that some sort of intervention was required to redeem the fallen world.

"God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." (2 Corinthians 5:21)

"to redeem those under the law, that we might receive our adoption as sons" (Galatians 4:5)

You are asking good questions, as long as you're actually interested, there are answers. Enjoy your evening.

For sure... But then the Morning Star stepped in to save the day.
His Glory is Ultimate, given by God Himself.

The Bible says, “For the father judges no one, but has committed all judgement to the Son” (John 5:22). Even Paul claimed that he judged (1 Corinthians 5:1-3; 1 Corinthians 5:12). He also said: “We shall judge angels. How much more on things that pertain to this life?” (1 Corinthians 6:2-3).

Ha ha! Your morning star lower case god of this world for only a given time.
Was expecting a war led by the Son of God with hordes of Angels coming to
Earth in a great battle. And there he was," Going to and froe upon the Earth.
And going up and down in it. Looking for whom he might devour". Because he
is liar and a murderer. But instead of an army being sent to defeat him.

All he got was the little baby Jesus Christ. Who defeated his weak
pathetic whining ass on the cross at Calvary. Good luck with your
twisted childish faithless choice. I'm happy with the Lord of Hosts
who defeats the powers of darkness with just a cute little baby.
Love the choice I've made.

I put my faith in Jesus Christ and I gotta tell ya. For a guy who died
in total obscurity 2000 years ago? He's still making people smile as he
turns their lives around towards hope instead of just death to look
forward to. All because you do not understand.

You believe your lies told by wicked men you paid to tell you those lies.
Put your faith in them. I'll put mine in the one true King that defeated
the darkness and walked out from the Grave sending an entire Roman
guard fleeing away like scared little girls. Scoff and mock me as much
as you have to. I find only strength in the insecurity that drives
you to such an attack. I can only pity you for your lack of knowledge.

There is no example you can make, no point you can bring to the
table that will excuse your reprobate mind. I can do nothing with you
in regards to the very sad path you've chosen. Already you are
becoming compassionless beyond anything human. Just going
by the actions you've displayed right here. And indeed a
man missing just one of the right God given virtues? In truth is
no longer human. But has become a freak completely devoid of
Jesus Christ. Not the best of anyone's life decisions ever.

Yes, but the Lord God Satan, the one and only True King loves you and wants to be in your heart.
I will pray to Satan for your lost soul so that He may come into you and save you from the detriment you are clearly destined for.

Satan and his angels will be serving the children of God. Jesus proved he had power over Satan and death. The battle is already won, it's just a matter of communicating to the people on the front lines that victory is already at hand.
