It's the thing I came up with, but you know how it is, if you believe in your religion, everyone else is wrong.

With the Abrahamic faiths, we share some common background - a dysfunctional family.

At least I have an excuse now.

Dysfunction seems to be at the core of every family I am a member of.

Church family, work family, birth family, community group family.......

Common denominator is me.

My bad.

On a side note does anyone think the pope is the false prophet? I have heard that before.

Francis is clearly an anti-Pope. Whether he’s more than that will be seen.

(Should have chosen Burke instead but that’s IMO.)

Destiny doesn't work that way.

Things are happening as they should whether we like it or not.

Well catholics are using the old testament with some new testament rules to live by. They still worship Jesus, but also mary and others from time to time.

Now modern christians are under Grace of the NT side of the bible. We worship God through Jesus.

The problem with catholic church is its organizational structure. The pope. He is to preach the word. not add his opinions or re interpret things. Until they fix that issue they are being led down a bad path. Jesus was not against organized religious practices but i assume he would not look favorably on how they overstep the use of it. Organizations should be small and community based.

@swampbuck
The rebuilding of the temple was to be done at Gods choosing not their choosing. So this is a false temple that will not stand long. God was to also bring back israel as well but once again man messed up the plan.
OR could this all be from Gods will disguised as mans will? If thats it then that is the temple.

I dont think though since this is just the abrahamic faiths that it is the one world religion HQ .

All religions are way to complex and granular to be able to get them to co-exist with any other religion.

We need to identity the mechanism or perhaps genes in all of us, that cause us to manifest hate, and get rid of them. That would be a good start.

Three Simple Metrics To Gauge If We Are In The End Times

There are a handful of key factors we can keep an eye on to gauge where we are on God's timetable. We can't know the day or hour, but Scripture tells us we can know the season and this compelling list of metrics can show us how close we must be.

There are over 4,000 recognized religions in the world.

The most commonly practiced religions are, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism.

So why did they leave out Buddhism and Hinduism?

Maybe they just aren't violent enough to make the club.

That can't be it.

Part 21—1900 onward—Skirts Splattered With Blood (Religion’s Future in View of It’s Past)

...
The part Christendom played in both world wars led to a severe loss of prestige. As the Concise Dictionary of the Christian World Mission explains: “Non-Christians had before their eyes . . . the evident fact that nations with a thousand years of Christian teaching behind them had failed to control their passions and had set the whole world ablaze for the satisfaction of less than admirable ambitions.”

Of course, religiously motivated wars are nothing new. But in contrast with the past when nations of different religions warred with one another, the 20th century has increasingly found nations of the same religion locked in bitter conflict. The god of nationalism has clearly been able to manipulate the gods of religion. Thus, during World War II, while Catholics and Protestants in Great Britain and the United States were killing Catholics and Protestants in Italy and Germany, Buddhists in Japan were doing the same to their Buddhist brothers in southeast Asia.

Nevertheless, in view of its own bloodstained clothing, Christendom cannot self-righteously shake its finger at others. By advocating, supporting, and at times electing imperfect human governments, professed Christians and non-Christians alike must share responsibility for the blood these governments have shed.

But what kind of religion would put government above God and offer its own members as political sacrifices on the altar of the god of war?

“They Kept Spilling Innocent Blood”

Those words, said of apostate Israel centuries ago, apply to all false religions and to those of Christendom in particular. (Psalm 106:38) ...

If you do a bit further research into it, you will find that, just like the Churches of Christendom were fully supporting and endorsing the war effort in Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, all of the Buddhist temples were doing the same in Japan (along with promoting patriotism and nationalism).
The End of False Religion Is Near!

...
What Is False Religion?

Are you distressed about crimes committed in the name of religion? Do the warfare, terrorism, and corruption perpetrated by those who claim to serve God offend your sense of justice? Why does religion seem to be at the root of so many problems?

The fault lies, not with all religion, but with false religion. A widely respected religious figure, Jesus Christ, indicated that false religion produces bad works, just as a “rotten tree produces worthless fruit.” (Matthew 7:15-17) What fruit does false religion yield?

False Religion . . .
◼ MEDDLES IN WAR AND POLITICS: “Across Asia and beyond,” says the journal Asiaweek, “power-hungry leaders are cynically manipulating people’s religious sentiments for their own needs.” As a result, the journal warns: “The world threatens to sink into madness.” A prominent religious leader in the United States declared: “You’ve got to kill the terrorists before the killing stops.” His solution? “Blow them all away in the name of the Lord.” By contrast, the Bible says: “If anyone makes the statement: ‘I love God,’ and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar.” (1 John 4:20) Jesus even said: “Continue to love your enemies.” (Matthew 5:44) How many religions can you think of whose members engage in war?

...

Seriously, think about that question at the end of that paragraph. It counts for all of the ones you highlighted: Buddhism, Christendom (you said Christianity but Christendom isn't Christianity*), Hinduism (think about what happened in Sri Lanka, and remember that the Sri Lankan government had military support, both weaponry/military supplies and soldiers, from the predominantly Hindu Indian government, there are also Buddhists in both armies and the Tamils were predominantly Hindus, including those who were fighting in the civil war, there are also Buddhists in Sri Lanka that do not have a message of peace nor take a united stand against military service, and then the violence in Myanmar towards muslim minorities is mostly because of Buddhists riled up by nationalistic Buddhist monks), Islam, and Judaism. And I would like to add Jainism, Sikhism, Confucianism (part of "Chinese traditional religion" as it's categorized on wikipedia), various tribal religions (such as in Africa and the Americas, referred to as Folk Religion on wikipedia's page for "major religious groups" and under the category "African traditional religions" concerning Africa on another page as well as "Ethnic and indigenous"), Shamanism, Shintoism, Taoism, Spiritism, and personal religion (classified on wikipedia as "unaffiliated"), and every other religion listed on the previous mentioned wikipedia page or the page for "List of religious populations" (that's the other page I mentioned earlier).

*: you can tell if you look at whether or not they take a united stand against military service, as true Christians should and have been told in the Bible that they should, because, as Paul said concerning the disciples of Christ (true Christians, who follow directly in Jesus' footsteps and actually do what he tells them to do, and not rely on their own supposed understanding, their own arguments and excuses to not walk in the way of peace):

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage warfare* [“We do not wage warfare.” Lit., “we are not doing military service.” ...; Lat., non . . . mi·li·ta'mus.] according to what we are in the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things. For we are overturning reasonings and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God;” (2 Cor 10:3-5)

Who is actually doing that? Who are the true Christians in this world? Who warns people about the dangers of patriotic nationalistic practices, thinking and attitudes, and as the article I opened this comment with puts it, "The god of nationalism" (which is the same one as "the god of this system of things", 2 Cor 4:4; the same one described at Rev. 12:9)?

SEARCHING FOR FRIENDS OF PEACE (playlist)

As the article about false religion at some point mentions:

...
How to Identify True Religion

What good fruit should true religion produce?—Matthew 7:17.

True Religion . . .
◼ PRACTICES LOVE: True worshippers are “no part of the world,” are not divided by race or culture, and display ‘love among themselves.’ (John 13:35; 17:16; Acts 10:34, 35) Rather than killing one another, they are willing to die for one another.—1 John 3:16.
