From there I suggest AIDS. Over 30 years and no vaccine. Just a cocktail of money making drugs. But I digress. The wart. Can we fix the common wart. If we can't do that then WTF is the point of any of this...meh.

How many people die of warts? How much time space and effort, do warts take up at the hospital?

How many people die of warts?

How many decades have they had to figure it out. Same for AIDS. No vaccine for either.

I don't know the technical answer, I think they are close with AIDS, I would not be surprised mRNA will end up being the way.

I think the trick, as always, is saving the patient, so, the solutions may not ever be that easy.,probably easy enough to kill the viruses.

A wart can mutate into either a fungi, a bacteria, or a cancer.

I suggest you read up on polymorphism.

My mother died of a wart that became cancerous.

So in my world, a wart cost my father roughly $800,000 in two years to hold his wife's hand as she died not of the cancer, but of kidney and liver failure because of the pain medications.

It didn't cost the hospital too much time though.

They wouldn't let her stay that long there because of the MRSA she caught at the hospital the first time there.

30 years and close. So what do you think on covid? 24 years. Regardless, my point is directly on target. There will not be a vaccine for warts, AIDS or Covid. There will never be a vaccine. Maybe a cocktail of drugs but not a vaccine. Can't make coin on a 100% solution. It needs to be a constant purchase of product. Make the product too good and the money STOPS.

I know this is hard for most to comprehend but they are a business. They can't make money if they fix the problem 100%. It's not that hard....use what's in that cranium and think about it.

Sorry about your loss. I sincerely mean that. Horrible situation. My point is there is not going to be a 100% vaccine though for warts, aids or covid. This will never happen. They can't make money on a cure. They need a revolving door of medication and injections. These are businesses trying to make money. They are not in the business of killing business with a 100% solution. I do not know why people can't understand basic economics but it is obvious they can not. The truly believe these pharma companies want to make it all go away. They do not. I repeat; THEY DO NOT.

I'm very sorry for your loss
... and thanks for that perspective. I'm sorry your mom and the family had to go through that.

My dad died of lung cancer, I was there holding his hand in palliative. He had slipped into a coma earlier in the day, anyway after a few hrs I had to stretch. I went to grab a coffee, of course, he let go while I was gone..sneaky.

It should of occurred to me, that any skin anomaly, it can go bad.

HPV causes genital, common, plantar, and flat warts. A vaccine has been available for awhile now.

www.medicalnewstoday.com...

Symptoms Symptoms of HPV may appear years after the initial infection. Some types of the virus cause warts to form, while others can increase the risk of cancer. Specifically, HPV can cause: Genital warts A person may have one small skin bump, a cluster of bumps, or stem-like protrusions. These warts can range in size and appearance, and they may be: large or small flat or cauliflower-shaped white, pink, red, purplish-brown, or skin-colored They can form on the: vulva cervix penis or scrotum anus groin area These warts can cause itching, burning, and other discomfort.

Other types of warts :HPV can also cause common warts, plantar warts, and flat warts. Common warts are rough, raised bumps that tend to form on the hands, fingers, and elbows. Plantar warts are hard, grainy growths that often form on the feet, usually on the heels or balls of the feet. Flat warts, meanwhile, are flat-topped, slightly raised lesions that are darker than the surrounding skin and often appear on the face or neck.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)Trusted Source recommend vaccination at the age of 11–12 years to reduce the risk of cervical and other forms of cancer. This type of vaccine comes in two stages, 6–12 months apart. Currently, three HPV vaccines are available: Gardasil Cervarix Gardasil. People aged up to 26 years who have not received the vaccine should ask their doctors about it. People aged 27–45 years who have not had the vaccine are eligible for vaccination with Gardasil 9. Speak with a doctor to see whether vaccination is appropriate. Anyone who is pregnant should wait until after delivery to have the vaccination.

The strains of HPV that cause warts are different from those that increase the risk of cancer.

(There are many different strains of the HPV virus which makes the vaccine effective for only certain strains).
