Since he is Republican I would not be surprised if some democrat notified the Taliban when and where he would be landing.

Exactly, this guy went over there thinking no one would touch him because he is a US Congressman and he was going to get a photo op and play hero. Sorry dude , that is on him

But first things first, we need to find out if this is even true

Not ALL of us are out.

ALL of us should be out...or it's not over.

Have we determined who he's allegedly "rescuing?"

And why other congresspeople were there shortly before?

And what the alleged money was for? Bribes? Ransom?

Dude's probably not even there.

Again, until you have been there you have no idea what you are talking about. It is easy to pound keys on a computer, it is a lot different when bullets are flying. Most of the war drum beaters have never served and would never serve, you are the same people that refer to a sports team and include yourself as a member of the team

Ten out of ten for style but minus 100 for good thinking.

We're not out there trying.

I don’t doubt his good intentions but what is a politician going to accomplish there other than being a high value hostage?

To show America that sitting on your a$$ accomplishes nothing.

Showing a sitting American congressman being executed is definitely an accomplishment.
I certainly hope that doesn’t happen but who knows.

At least someone in office has the balls to try to do whats right. This man is trying to save Americans. It should be mandatory that Biden always wear the Left's pussy hat after this.

Do we even know this is true?

Unless you know something more than I do, yes. If so, please feel free to point out the untruths.

You're right...I've never been there.
Sounds like you're saying you have been.

But this guy is putting his life on the line to try to protect fellow Americans...just like those who already were there.

Calm down, I am only asking because this is coming from the same media we all say we distrust. No one knows if he actually went to afghanistan, all I have read says he was in Tajikistan asking for money to be sent to hire a helicopter and rescue a mother and 4 children and his request was denied. So we do not know that he even went into afghanistan.

GOP Congressman Missing In Afghanistan

WTELF ?
If I went to Afghanistan to help , damned if I wouldn't disappear too .
Would anyone here want the press broadcasting where they were at ?
Congress ?
Dumba__ Biden ?

Anyone that thinks that they wouldn't go "missing" , raise both hands then both feet while standing up.

Biden would give the Taliban his coordinates, with another list of names.

Yes, I was there. I get what he was doing, but my point is it is not smart to go into any enemy territory on your own like this guy tried to do.

Maybe he thought it was worth the risk to rescue US citizens and allies.

That was way I put in my original post that it was minus 100 for good thinking.
It’s not a simple thing to get in to Afghanistan now so he needed help.
I’m hoping he is just incognito instead of a prisoner.

Just trying to save people would be deserving of a photo op, also if he were just playing hero he would still be at home, like the Coward and Chief.

If only this guy had left Biden, Blinken and Kerry there....we could have avoided a lot of problems. Wonder if he regrets it now......

Secretary of State Antony Blinken, at the time an aide to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, also was rescued by the mission. Blinken is now in charge of diplomatic efforts to rescue remaining Americans and at-risk Afghans.

Then-Sens. John Kerry (D-Mass.) and Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) also were aboard the pair of US Army Black Hawk helicopters forced to land in the mountains due to a snowstorm.

After surviving the ordeal, Hagel went on to be defense secretary from 2013-2015. Kerry was secretary of state from 2013-2017 and is currently Biden’s global warming envoy.

Like it or not( and trust me I do not) the guy that was made (not elected) commander in chief has made the decision that he made. What we need to do is get our house in order here and insure that this dementia laden fool does not get re-installed as POTUS again and make sure our elections do not get hijacked again. I truly think our greatest threat is here now from liberal socialists that are eating our nation from the inside out like a cancer. If we don't get our sh!t together here we will not have to worry about outside threats anymore as our republic will already be destroyed.

According to Biden, they are trusted. What will you say when he recognizes them as legit?

I mean, we trusted them to secure the area in Kabul around the airport....what's not to trust right? Biden and his admin do...
