I have respects for this congressman i hope he manages to get rescued. What a plunder this whole thing is.

Well that wasn't a very wise move, was it? Wonder who he was evacuating.

I swear I also read that a group of Americans school kids were there on a class trip when the SHTF.

The man is an idiot, he went into that country that is in taliban control on his own, sorry but he gets what is coming to him, we should not put more us lives at risk because he wanted to play hero.

It wouldn't surprise me that the school system wouldn't see a risk with letting school kids visit a war zone.

Showing a sitting American congressman being executed is definitely an accomplishment.
I certainly hope that doesn’t happen but who knows.

Joe committed treason.

None of this would be necessary if we had been proactive and competent. But alas, some basic intelligence is just far too much to be asked of our civilian and military leadership.

I want heads to roll. But I'm afraid all I'm going to get is gaslit - we'll be expected to believe that what we just did was legitimate, sane, and in keeping with tactical and strategic thinking. We'll be told over and over again of the necessity of leaving after 20 years of combat. We will then get what these old and dessicated walking corpses wanted; the crown jewel of their achievement. A heroes release as the ravages of time takes them. It's the only thing they can't control.

Then-Sens. John Kerry (D-Mass.) and Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) also were aboard the pair of US Army Black Hawk helicopters forced to land in the mountains due to a snowstorm.

After surviving the ordeal, Hagel went on to be defense secretary from 2013-2015. Kerry was secretary of state from 2013-2017 and is currently Biden’s global warming envoy.
