Did Colm McCarthy write the original book for that? I know it's the one with Kevin Spacey.

Also, American Beauty was another good one with Spacey, and K-Pax. Good actor, bad human...

See, I think we're dealing with 3 different things: 1- the best movie 2- your favorite movie 3 - the greatest movie.

There are upwards of 100 movies I could call my favorite, depending upon my current mood and what I have a desire to watch at a particular point in time. But my opinion, the greatest movie ever (which is also on my list of favorites) is Ben Hur, the 1959 version, with Charlton Heston. The story, the cinematography, the pageantry, just the scope of it makes it an unparalleled experience. For me, anyway.

Raiders and Seven Samurai definitely deserve some attention
(Seven Samurai inspired Magnificent Seven, I believe)

Yes. And A Few Dollars More and Last Man Standing (Bruce Willis mob movie) were direct rip offs of Yojimbo. D.O.A. had the best opening line “I’d like to report a murder...MINE.”

Things to do in Denver when you're dead.

The Fisher King is a great film..... maybe not the greatest but I love it.
If you have never heard of it..... it's a Terry Gilliam film starring Jeff Bridges, Robin Williams and Amanda Plummer.
