7. WHEREAS, the recent equity assessment and other reporting has uncovered that many students have been targeted by hate-based actions, racial slurs, and insults in their everyday learning experiences, causing indifference and trauma for the victims of such incidents.
8. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE Loudoun County School Board and its division superintendent publicly declare the condemnation of White supremacy, hate speech, hate crimes, and other hate-based acts of violence, and any instances of hate, discrimination, and violence based on race, religion, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, appearance, and socio-economic status

I'm sure at one point the Church didn't want teachers teaching that the Earth went around the Sun. There's always an agenda.
But if FACTS are being taught, so be it. Not everyone like facts. Especially Republicans. They like conjecture and opinion.
Besides, do we really want quitters as teachers?

My understanding is that if you or your children "choose" to disregard the rhetoric in said book you will burn for all eternity.
Where is the unconditional love there?
Im not shoving anything down your throat. LoL
Again that's your Bible hard at work.
Anyhow have a nice day and try not to hate to much, even if you think that's what god wants you to do. x
It usually helps to go to the source before condemning something.
If parents want to be abusive to their kids over stuff, that's up to them. It isn't the school's job to be abusive or allow some students to abuse other students.

It's all about a teacher's quitting over the Loudoun County Public Schools Equity Training is it not?
Well that's what I quoted.
If parents want to teach white supremacy, hate, discrimination, and violence based on race, religion, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, appearance, and socio-economic status then they just have to teach that at home. The public school doesn't want to.
Within the last year, I was in one of my so-called equity trainings that White, Christian, able-bodied females currently have the power in our schools and ‘this has to change,’"
Care to quantify how “ Christian, able-bodied females currently have the power”?

The school boards and teacher's unions are infested with petty tyrants and communists. The one thing that they need though is a head count in their class rooms. Deny them that and they will lose funding, and boy do commies hate to lose their grip on the money they are provided. They'll never change either, so enrollment will never bounce back once you take the students from them for being what they really are, communist tyrants.
This is "opinion" of course, and any proof offered will be hard to prove on anything but an individual basis with specific examples of how these boards rule on certain issues like CRT, sexual choice and race issues. Something I rather not look into as it seems obvious to me and likely many teachers as well. If any teacher were to voice their opinion on the direction of the school board they'd be fired. Parents will not be able to voice their opinions at board meetings either as they will get escorted out and/or the meeting will be conducted in private afterward.
Take you children out of the public school system and they will have less minds to influence with their communist agenda, less money to work with, and less power over the lives of teachers, parents and students.
you are wrong,
they will just give more money to the head count that are present
sorry but that is the real world of education these days.
suck it up if you don't believe my
my wife is in the education field of educating children

A woman who says she's a Loudoun County teacher just broke into tears addressing the school board saying she would not honor the because of her faith and she told the board she was quitting her job, right there on the spot.
Care to quantify how “ Christian, able-bodied females currently have the power”?
And what is this “power”?

Clearly, you've made your point. You no longer value me or many other teachers you've employed in this county. So since my contract outlines the power that you have over my employment in Loudoun County Public Schools, I thought it necessary to resign in front of you.

The teacher voluntarily quit. That's her right.
Other than that, I am actually sorry that I entered this thread. I don't live in Virginia. My opinion regarding anything to do with Virginia state law or school operation is totally irrelevant.
