Lucille Ball was born on August 6th. I remember watching I Love Lucy reruns. Oh- the good ole days as they say- sigh.

Heh, that brought back memories.

I used to get suspended from school and watch those shows with my Mom (who's birthday is August 7th btw lmao).

Our school was ancient with an old boiler system that used to heat up the classrooms too much, so they would leave the windows open a touch.

My friends and I considered it a challenge to see if we could throw snowballs through the open windows.

We pretty much totaled the classroom inside with a huge mess of water and whatever may have been in the snowballs.

I got suspended (along with a few buddies) Monday morning as a result.

Ok, Mom went into a nursing home for her dementia and she's never coming back home. So when I do eventually clear out all her stuff I have Nat Geo's going back to the '60's. Just PM me with any dates you are looking for and I'll oblige. Except for August 1968, that one's mine, happy b-day to me today yay.
