Sputnik I believe is a traditional type vaccine.
If you want it then I think it's ready for approval but I can't see the US buying a Russian vaccine when there's already plenty of US made ones available.

The Russians, who can be brutal are the most in tune with preserving their population and full on National duty to have children as to strengthen their National Identity and might … that being said … What ever tech Russia is using in their vax would be imo a safe bet . AZ , & J&J are traditional in delivery … so if the Russians are using vectored vaccines ? Then J&J seems like the only logical choice.
