Can somebody who lives or is in D.C. confirm or debunk this?

Canberra to Sydney is around the same.

That's nice, neither one is the same place, just like NYC and DC.

Place is different, culture and motivations are closely linked.

Maybe the smart ones? The region around Denver looks a bit swampy, my focus is a bit hazy, that part of the world.

They are both completely different places and considering you've been to neither your opinion on the matter is less than useless.

Then why such pleasant discourse? I do agree I earn less than CNN.

Deep inside rumors say Murial Bowser is planning a secret Coupe and declare D.C. a separate State 😎

I guess you probably don't have things like Google Streetview in the US, but here in the UK we can look at almost any building in the world. And the side entrance to the FBI HQ looks identical in those photos to how it looks on Streetview. In other worlds, it's always looks like that!

Those fences are to stop rioters and looters. It's all for show anyway 😎

declare D.C. a separate State

Sounded like DC was already a separate state, Had its own jurisdiction outside of usual state policy. Appeared to come under the kind of laws when entering a nations embassy in another land. Could be wrong?

Come on all you tech savvy people on ATS. I'm completely useless at it and I know there was another post on exactly the same gag, but I'm too hot and bothered to search for it. Someone else can look it up.

The post was maybe a couple of weeks ago of a guy supposedly from the future showing films from the future of cities devoid of people and traffic. Grass growing on streets etc.
I think it has something to do with video manipulation. It might even be the same guy doing this.

S+F for such oddness. The thread starts simply enough...is this picture/scenario true or false?

Brand new members chime in NOOOO WAY FAKE lol and older members are completely sidetracked on if DC and NYC are the same city or something.

This should be an open/shut thing guys. Someone in DC could surely upload a pic or two.

My personal telework conspiracy is that my coworkers think the beach bar in my Teams background is a filter.

I work in DC. I'm here every day. This guy is full of sh!t. Traffic is getting heavier and heavier. There are always helicopters flying over DC. I was a helicopter mechanic in the Navy and always watch the sky when I hear rotor blades. I have noticed nothing unusual or any unusual uptick in flights.

I can take pictures of traffic when I leave if you want, but this guy is full of it. Some federal workers may not have gone back to work yet and are still working from home. So they may contribute to federal buildings being less occupied.

Thank you. Please end the madness here lol
