No. I am that person. I almost always prefer the books to the shows. There's always so much more in the books because of the constraints of TV media, more depth. Plus, I get to decide what my characters will look like within reason instead of a casting director.

If you are one of "those" people who's internal movie making apparatus is better than the average drooling director's vision, then... create a screenplay or direct and join the ranks of the modern gods. You might have to join the Masons, though, apparently.

I agree as to books generally being better, btw. I seldom, if ever, see a flick that matches or surpasses what the original written words create in the mindscape. The reasons being the attention to details that can be expressed in books as well as the mind filling in what is unwritten.

The Expanse is one of the better "sci-fi" efforts in modern media... though that's not saying a whole lot. Maybe I'll check out the books.

great scifi series i have watched them all so far, shame bossman gets spaced. great plot,great characters, great attention to detail respecting space physics, great special effects.

Best sci - fi series I've seen to date, defo.

I have Prime. Just looked it up.
I don't particularly enjoy many sci-fi stuff, but the plot sounds really interesting.

Alright I’ll check it out, but check out The 100 on Netflix. I really enjoyed that show and binge watched all the way through.

So it is a Sci Fi show, right?
I will add it to my list to watch.
As soon as I get internet again at home.
