I have no issue with people having their belief systems. It's a great thing to have different opinions.

But I cant for the life of me figure out why folks have to lie or make crap up instead of just being genuine.

My nephew has Asperger's and is highly functional but he does require constant "oversight"; probably for the rest of his life.

My opinion? Greta is being used.

Folks on the spectrum can be easily manipulated and it can be all but impossible to break an obsession they may have, or "acquire". Once they're focused, all you can do is ride it out with them until they switch to something else, and that could take years or never happen.

I've heard the media excuse this with well other administrations in the far distant past have done this. Imagine if Trump had demanded that? Especially with all the Democrats openly talking about deprogramming and reeducating and labeling Republicans as terrorists (not some Republicans/all Republicans).

That is the way it is now in the USA. So we all better darn well get used to it.

I agree wholeheartedly with your above statement. Now if we could just get Democrats to agree our country would be a lot happier and safer place. Free speech and the exchange of ideas without fear of reprisal is critical to a functioning Democracy.
