If people are claiming fraud in what is suppost to be a fair, open, transparent and audible election, the people have every right to look.
The government is undermining the will of the people by obfuscuting that process, which in and of itself screams of wrongdoing.
If there is no fraud, no foul play or anything, then why not let themselves prove over and over again that they are wrong?

I break that Speed Limit law every day. People freak out when I post "I break the law every day". LOL.
So before you chew me out again for not having anything useful to say
Some may call this Trump Derangement Syndrome, but in reality it's IAMSICKOFTRUMP syndrome.

"People" aren't claiming fraud.
Donald Trump claimed fraud because he lost. his acolytes like Mike Lindell and Tucker Carlson ran with it and stirred up a hornets nest, all because the only way Trump could have lost is fraud...
Think about that for a second.
Nobody, absolutely nobody started shouting fraud until Trump did. In fact, he started screaming it BEFORE the election was even counted. Then he made the false claim that he won by "yugely bigly numbers". Then to make it all worse, when Congress was counting the electors votes, he chastised Mike Pence for following the law and certifying the electors, all the while riling up his supporters about all of this "fraud" and how they had to take action to get their country back.
Remember this is the same man that claimed he could kill someone on the streets of NYC and no one would care, and that all women loved him and wanted him (personally I think he's icky looking but that's just my personal opinion, certainly not my type) AND that he was an expert in all things, "Knowing more about __fill in the blank here __ than anyone else"
I also seem to remember he advocated trying to find out if there was a way to shine UV light inside the human body, barring that, if there was a way to inject disinfectants, do you see the pattern here? I won't even get into his "Grab them by the you know what" comments. I almost spewed my coffee all over my desk the day I heard that one on the news.
This, THIS is the man that started all the furor that there was fraud in the election. No one else BUT him.
So before you chew me out again for not having anything useful to say, remember this, Trump shoots for the LCD, the Lowest Common Denominator when he goes after a sound bite or a press release, the is hoping the people listening to him are so blinded by loyalty to him they don't question him on anything he says, and continue to blindly follow him.
These audits for supposed fraud are just another in a long line of Trump lies. If you can't see it, you're blind.
(of course Hillary is just as bad, but who's counting)

You claimed that it was hypocritical to care about one but not the other.
Ok, so.... is it hypocritical to care about breaking one law and not another?

Driving faster than 55 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone on the road is also "breaking the law".
Right. And if an officer targets you for it, you get cited.

When Rosa Parks refused to move to the back of the bus in 1955 she was also "breaking the law"
Right. And the laws got changed. At the time, would i have sided with law enforcement? Absolutely. Get the laws changed the right way, as was done.

The law can be wrong.
See above.

And in America, since the people are the absolute sovereign, if enough of us agree that the law is wrong, we have the absolute right to completely ignore it.
No.... you do NOT have the absolute right to "ignore the law", the rights you have are to change the laws

The government said it did when it refused to simply make the data on that hard drive available to people who wanted to know.
You have zero rights to private passwords and voting system integrity.

I really think you are not an American, because you keep showing yourself to be truly ignorant of our ways.
LOL im ignorant by suggesting that ignoring laws no matter what they entail is anti-American?

And I hope someday you get nailed by an observant officer and his radar gun. (Yes I have gotten caught for speeding in my life, so I am not wishing on anyone that which I have not been guilty of myself)

I see you.
I understand you.
I believe you are right.
You're under the mistaken premise that they care. They do not, and no matter how much you talk, how much logic you put forth, it's wasted.
The best outcome i can hope for, for you.... is that it makes you feel better to say it.
For my part, im not sure why i keep trying to get them to see reason. I used to believe i felt a shared brotherhood with people on here....my mistake.

I didn't know you had surgery. Thankfully infections are easily dealt with these days.
Looking forward to your cheery return to the thread, Boadicea. It's incredibly unselfish of you to have posted the update today.
Thank-you so much!

It's sad really, that's my only real purpose now is to show how sad it has become. They can't even see that all of this was started by one man, one very whiney man who cannot accept loss in any form.

It isn't about fraud anymore, it is about screwing up the electoral process so much that no one will ever trust the results again, and the Orange One can get reelected.

I worked in Government for years, you do not know how much hatred I get now, outside of my local coffee shop where everyone knows me, I used to get people thanking me for putting my life on the line every day, now, it's "Trump and Gab say your agency is full of liars, so you must be one too" I again am oversimplifying the comments but I will NOT ever put what was really said up on this site, for fear of being banned for obscene language)
The fact that I am now retired, that means nothing to these people, it's all about how we screwed Trump, and screwed Tucker, and screwed Mike and so on.

As for the voters own the election so they have the right to passwords and routers crap, no you do not. The laws are VERY clear on this point, you as a citizen do not have the right ever to demand secure passwords to secure government systems. End of statement.
Of course.. Some of those SovCit's may disagree but hey..
This particular thread will do an auto shut-down when 399 pages are filled, I think.

For me, it's fascinating and puzzling watching Democrats in social media, on CNN/MSNBC, in the NYTimes, Atlantic, etc, devote so much time and energy lambasting a man (Trump) who was beaten by their candidate (Biden).
Hillary Clinton complained after losing to Donald Trump in 2016, but Trump supporters didn't light up social or mainstream media over Hillary's complaints. We didn't care, because we won, and had plans to Make America Great Again.
Seeing Biden supporters complain about Trump, instead of focusing on the next 3 years of Biden Making America Great Again from the Democrat's perspective, is quite puzzling.
