Took me a second...I actually meant Nancy Pelosi, not Nancy Reagan.

So is ATS just going to ignore the s***storm swirling around Greene?
For those that haven't been following the news, Greene's issues started last weekend when some Facebook posts she made in 2018 and 2019 came to light. Chief among these were posts that advocated the assassination of a number of politicians, namely Pelosi, as well as the killing of FBI agents.
This prompted a response from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy who stated he was going to have a little chat with the freshman Representative. It should be remembered that in 2019 McCarthy stripped then-Representative Steve King of his committee duties following controversial statements he made about white supremacy.

Things have progressively gotten worse for Greene. Yesterday the phrase "Jewish space laser" was trending on Twitter when it was revealed that, in now deleted posts, Greene claimed the 2018 Camp Fire was started by the Rothschilds using an orbital laser.
While the belief itself is insane it has raised questions of anti-semitism. This isn't the first conspiracy she has espoused that involves Jewish people. She's a big advocate of anti-Soros conspiracies. She also has a history of railing against "Zionist supremacists" and pushing the Great Replacement theory.

Understandably these remarks have angered Jewish groups who are now calling for her removal.
Needless to say Greene is causing a bit of split in the Republican Party. There were many key Party members who earned of the danger she presented but she ultimately got the backing of the Party because she was endorsed by a number of people that had Trump's ear.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. There are many, including those on the Right, that don't believe enough is being done by Party leadership to rein in Greene. But now that Greene's past comments have raised the ire of Jewish lobbying groups we'll see if further steps are taken to diminish what little power the freshman Representative has.
I guess I'll end this with a question. Which one of you on here is Marjorie Taylor Greene?

Has she been banned from Tweetter yet?
