FlyingClayDisk wrote a fairly detailed breakdown of how this works and why there’s nothing that can be done about it. It was just last week in the other thread talking about it. I can’t remember the name of that thread, but it came to a stand-still after FCD explained it all.

Any web page can redirect the page they own to any other page on the internet. The destination page has no say so in the matter.
