You can't remove it. Once you publish something on this site, they own it.

T & C says it CAN be removed...if a reasonable reason is provided.

Requests for voluntary "account deletion" and removal of your content will not be honored without a reasonable reason, provided in writing, to TAN.

I believe "reasonable reason"...given the current climate in Social Media...is contingent on disclosure of the perceived agenda and mindset of the new ownership.

Without the members, this site would not exist. The site owners are not putting content up for others to consume.

If everyone here just up and left, all they would have is past content and no traffic.

We actually have all of the power here....they only have the ability to keep content here to themselves.

It might seem like I’m being argumentative, but I’m not. As members to a free forum where we don’t contribute financially or have anything to do with the actual running of the site, we deserve nothing.

Counter argument: You wouldn’t go to your local store and say you deserve to know who’s buying it because you spend money there (whereas you spend zero here).

I and every member here (including yourself) has loyally and dedicatedly helped add equity to this site over the course of many years.

The courtesy of knowing, in advance, the identity of the unknown entity who will soon be holding and controlling the fate of those years of trust, loyalty, time and effort seems, at least to me, to be deserved.

If your bank was about to be purchased by another bank...would you, as a long-term depositor, want to be informed who was buying it ahead of time, so you might have the option of pro-actively deciding whether or not you wish to give them your continued business or have access to your private information?

I used that word in my OP as well.
I believe we DESERVE, at least, the COURTESY.
I feel it has been earned by all of us.
