It's a hole in the ice
This guy sucks.
Vid spun to look like a disc and image is reduced to hide creek flowing into hole.

There is definitely some weirdness and folklore surrounding Antarctica.
Along with some pretty high profile visits to see an ice sheet.

Looks a little less circular / elliptical in your image. I wonder if somebody has a closer view. These kinds of things, whether they're in Antarctica or on Mars, tend to disappear when we get higher resolution images of them.

Not saying this is a UFO, but it's not a pond.
The article in your link points to 'other meltwater ponds' that look nothing like this.

It's definitely not circular - of course, depends on the angle it was shot at.

Here is the cord ready for copy and paste into google earth: 66°16'24.0"S 100°59'03.0"E

Kind of angry he did not write it under the video.. so I did not have to pause the video and do manually labor.

But yearh it is there.. and it cast a nice little shadow around the rim of it, like its elevated from the ground.
