Awe one of my favorite members on here You always make me laugh!

I was so sad when I read the thread about ATS. I'm still in denial. ATS was a huge part of my life for 11 years as a member and 14 as a lurker. Not sure why it took me so long to actually join! I met and many long time friends on here. Some i have never met but they have been better friends to me than the typical local friend. I love my EURO/AUSSIE friends I've made. I am going to be very sad if ATS shuts down and I can't ever read it. I don't post like i use to but I come and visit daily and read. I never imagined ATS could close, never crossed my mind. I only ever go to ATS for most things and then Ancient Origins but I've been going there just as long as ATS. I hope I can somehow save all my favorite threads. OMG I AM STILL reading the Stargates are Real thread lol I better pick up the pace!

Sorry, but my brain is tapioca these days and I haven't been here for five years.

What conspiracy theory ?? and I don't remember anyone named Ketsuko.

If that's a member, my apologies for not remembering. Don't take it personally.... my illness has progressed a bunch and this place looks foreign to me, it's hard to navigate now, and it's all literally fuzzy in my head.

A handful of weeks ago I was told that ATS was going to be pulling the plug.
Curiosity demanded that I take a look. I see that it's still up and running.
So ... my question is ... is ATS really going off line for good?
OR is this like what happened with HOSTESS a few years back?
They said they were going out of business ... so everyone ran out and
bought up all the twinkies they could find, even paying $100 a box on ebay,
only to have Hostess back in business within a year and pumping out twinkies again?

Is ATS really closing? And if so ... when? Just curious.

If u spawned a clone that picked up a mutant gene for gaming and wry humor, that's Ketsuko. You faded out and she phased in. There were questions.

It all worked out. It just took 5 years. Now we have double the fun.

Yeah ... that's not me. I have zero interest in gaming; have no clue about anything related to gaming; and if I tried to play any of those things I'd probably have seizures from the screen moving too fast for my brain that's been screwed up by Sjogrens and a nasty nasty concussion 12 years ago or so.


Well ... I've not really gotten an answer on the question I asked ... no one seems to know anything about ATS closing and ATS is still up and running after all this time ... So I'm just going to assume this was just a 'NEW COKE' type situation and everything is as it was. If ATS disappears and contents are all destroyed (which, upon closing, they should be for legal CYA protection) ... then I'll admit I was wrong. But there would be no place to post to admit it to so ....
