The New York Police Department is investigating a possible poisoning of three officers at a Manhattan Shake Shack after weeks of civil unrest following the death of Minneapolis man, George Floyd, in police custody.
On Monday night it was reported that three officers may have been poisoned at a Manhattan Shake Shack by what may be bleach slipped into their shakes. The officers have been hospitalized, and employees have been questioned, but no arrests have been made. A sample of the shakes was sent for lab results to confirm the possible poison.
New York police unions warned officers to be more aware as public opinion of police reaches critical levels in the city.

I think if I were police out and about on patrol I would be packing a box lunch and only consume bottle drinks. This really is some sick stuff and where it ends at this moment is anyone's guess. There are several articles about this event scattered over the internet.

Shake Shack 'horrified' by reports that 3 NYPD officers hospitalized after drinking bleach
Three NYPD officers were taken to a hospital after ingesting a foreign substance, which the union says was believed to be bleach.
The officers, all three in uniform, are expected to survive.
The NYPD did not confirm what was in the drink Monday night, but Police Benevolent Association, a police union, said in a statement to members that the substance is thought to be bleach.
Three NYPD officers were poisoned at a Shake Shack on Broadway in Manhattan Monday night, according to New York Benevolent Police Association (PBA) and confirmed by the Detectives' Endowment Association.
'The NYC Police Benevolent Association then made a claim that the officers may have been poisoned with bleach. The NYPD launched an investigation after the officers fell ill - and has dismissed the claim, saying that there was no criminality by Shake Shack employees. Investigators say that a cleaning solution wasn’t fully cleared from the milkshake machine, which is how it may have got into the drinks.

Like I said there are several articles saying they were poisoned.. Where the truth lies is anyone's guess
That would have to be a lot of bleach to poison and harm you, enough to smell it before you drank any of it.
What other cleaning chemicals were used besides bleach and water,
Then you have used due diligence to find the truth.... RARE these days. Bravo

FOX reports, this morning, that it was not an attempt tp poison...but the result of using bleach to clean the shake machine.
