How is this going to end?

This is an honest question. How do you think this anarchy will stop?

Do you think these rioters and looters will just get bored and go home?

Do you think our leaders are somehow going to grow a backbone and put themselves on the line to STOP the madness? If they could do something EFFECTIVE, what would it be?

Are we going to hold the media, including social media, accountable for stoking the flames of civil war? There is no objective journalism. All the mainstream media is biased and serving up propaganda for the own political agenda. I firmly believe in the right to a free press. But I also think people need to be held ACCOUNTABLE for the lies they print, state, or help perpetuate.

Or do we let it all burn? I could easily sit back and say "not my city..." but it IS my country. These ARE my countrymen and women. I DO support the police and law enforcement. I also support the rights of every race to be treated equally and there IS a clear disparity in application of law. Not just between people of COLOR but also between RICH and POOR. But allowing this anarchy is NOT the answer.

So how will it end? I saw this comment in the comments section of an article and thought it was pretty spot on -

... This is today's generation. The weakest generation. We will look back at this time in shame. Not for police brutality, no, we will remember the entitled youth and weak leadership that cowered in their homes in fear of the flu. A generation of politically correct weaklings, who raged mindlessly, in the richest nation on the planet, for more handouts. A generation trained by media and elites to hate their country.

So my fellow Americans....how does this end? And what are YOU doing to help us get there?

oh and the deparity has always been between rich and poor... its the rich that are getting the poor to fight each other instead of them.... its pretty brilliant in how well it has worked for so long actually. Ive read it started with the Labor movement of the 1800s, blacks and whites fought side by side for better conditions until the factory owners pitted us against each other so we didn't win.
(ie "white folks would have better wages if they didn't have to share with the blacks" and sit back and watch the fireworks.)

I think everyone should be killed.
Black, white, brown, green, yellow, Republicans, Democrats and Libertarians. Young, old, men, women and even all of the many hundreds of different genders.

The last person standing should be obligated to commit suicide.

I am that sick of this crap.
First it was COVID-19, now it is civil unrest.

I am depressed and angry.

Tons of people, even co-workers sat at home and got paid by the government while I went to work every day, and all I seem to get is more workload and more weirdness in the world.

It ends the same way it always ends. The government rolls over, the mob gets most of what it wants, no one is held accountable for the rioting and looting, and the general public gets screwed.

So long as people enjoy being riled up by the news media it's gonna go on.

When this ends (when people are bored with their cause and or get what they want), they'll find something else to get fired up about. As long as their brains are plugged in to "Da Media" they're fair game.

Quarantine em. Get em bored. Take bad events and play them over and over on the media almost distastefully to fire em up, and watch the metaphorical mentos in the coke fizz.

The end will start in a city.

On Monday my friends and I attended the protests nearby to help keep the peace. The side that wasn't protesting was filled with military cosplayers and AR-15s but their numbers were small vs. the protesters.

Some bad apples on both sides. The state of Jefferson cosplayers threw 2 water bottles at the protesters to rile them up but we formed a human line in the streets chanting "they're not worth it" to prevent a brawl til cops showed up.

Happened in a smaller town but we did it right and cool heads prevailed.
I do not have the same confidence in bigger cities.

There are 15 year old little $#!+$ in these crowds that don't understand what's going on and just eager to throw something.

The end will start when a big city riot begins, the government will use force to stamp out rebellion.

I see enforcers getting itchy trigger fingers like in V for Vendetta and opening fire on people.

Once that happens, all hell breaks loose, the officials run to their bunkers, the people storm the gates and right before our leaders are dragged out from their holes they hit the button.

It ends with TPTB justifying new digital policing, drones, surveillance, etc. the likes of which we have only seen in movies.

States and municipalities are also in dire need of tax revenue and are in major debt, so by cutting back on human police who require major salaries the government can pivot to lower-paid "digital police" who monitor digitized visibility, enforcement, etc.

Fire up HAARP and spit out a few F5 tornados...problem solved and people can start working together again to clean up the mess.

Frankly more polarized hate between two entities. Black verses White. No quarter. and of course shortly another incident will occur and it will be a re-run.
All this until November third.

Public opinion shifts further against the progressive (read, corporate, rich, entitled) new left, and as a result becomes pushed even more harder by the corporate sponsors and wealthy individuals who promote it. Leading to further alienation from the general public. Presumably acuminating in greater violence down the road.

Of course those pushing the ultra-new left certainly do not actually want it, as under a "socialist" regime being wealthy upper-middle class types they would be the first against the firing line as bourgeois oppressors. It is merely a tool to distract the stupid, the ignorant and the easily led from the real problems of not only America but the west in general. That being the total domination of the political system by multinational monied interests.

The last few years of western electoral history should be an eye opener to the establishment. Trump, Bolsonaro, Brexit, massive rise in Anti-Globalist right wing parties in Europe, , Orban in Hungary, Duda in Poland, Kurz in Austria. People do not want it. All they are doing is paving the way for governments that totally and wholly reject their cause.

Increased extremism from the left will result in radicalisation of the right, and if they continue to push harder and harder we will see actual Fascist and National Socialist governments rise in the west. Not an attractive prospect.

No but I can bet you big tech like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, FB, etc. are all crafting up multi-billion dollar deals with intelligence and gov. to take advantage of this situation.

Wouldn't be surprised if their lobbyists were already working to get legislation passed to enable more encroachment on citizen's privacy/freedoms while big tech. salivates waiting for those major government contracts
