Do you honestly believe anyone thinks a war with Iran would get trump reelected?

Who knows with this President , Corona virus is causing him problems in the polls , I couldn't say with confidence that isn't the plan
He's planted the seed of a "sneak attack" , there's a trigger point for any false flag you care to think of.

Irony?

You don't even need hands to count how many wars the US has won without help from allies.

Nobody is coming to play this time. They are all in far to precarious of a home position to rock their local boats (send their country on a costly adventure).

This just two clowns trying to distract their locals from the messes they just made at home.

When Margaret Thatcher was facing defeat in an upcoming election the 1982 Falklands war turned her fortunes , there is a precedent for manufactured wars of convenience.

Yeah Thatcher manufactured Argentina invading a sovereign British territory.

You guys never get tired of pushing this kind of propaganda. It's incredible.

Yeah, no one else has a grudge against the Mullahs in the region.....lol. Iran is a one trick pony, economically speaking. It wouldn't be hard at all to send them into a World of Pain.

Balls in Irans hands, their actions will dictate how they plays out for them.

what's wrong with a sovereign nation monitoring a military exercise being conducted just outside it's coastal border?

Nothing at all. Sailing that close, however, isn't monitoring. If you actually think they were doing that to "monitor" us, you need to lay off the Iranian propaganda.

You don't monitor an exercise by closing in and almost hitting the ships involved.

Wow, she forced the Junta to invade? That's some 4D Chess there.

How did she do that?

Since it is so easily done, why hasn't it been done?

Either it is easy and the US military is inept, or it is vastly more difficult than you can comprehend.

That end of the Earth is cursed. Learn from it, or be buried in it, I honestly, could care less.

When I'm on the water, I don't cut 15 feet front of a Great Lakes Freighter.

There's a word for that.

Civilian ships have also been harassed... no country is immune.

Blow them out of the water!🤗

Perhaps research the history and the build up to the Falklands war before being so dismissive.
Yes Argentina invaded but we left the door open and the welcome mat laid out.

Exactly. If your intent is to monitor, you stay a safe distance away and watch. This was nothing but sheer provocation, no matter who it was.

I don't think she did. Apparently gortex does though. I was responding, sarcastically, to this nonsense he posted in reply to the OP:

Their Navy reminds me of boat chase scenes in James Bond from the 70's. Hollywood should upgrade them to those alligator submarines in Octapussy.

Lol. I've watched nearly every Bond film between the 60's and 90's because they've been on the movie channels on Dish Satellite... They always have the hottest women.

Because we don't want to.

Are you seriously contending that we couldn't destroy Irans ability to pump and distribute oil?

I don't want to do that.

I even more don't want Iran to pose threats to our Forces there.

I'd fire warning shots and if they don't adjust course, then that's on them.

We've served them notice on the rules of the game now.

They can monitor all they want, as long as they do it at a safe distance. That safe distance is now determined by us.
