Way more die from drinking, smoking and car accidents. I don't see any concerted attacks on those things

Get people back to work or fire them and make room for the line of replacements ready to take their place

The 60k deaths comes from just the 2018/2019 flu season, and it was a very bad one over all, but most recent. People are just suggesting if this doesn't go past 60k then it is about as bad as a very bad flu season, but we have no clue to how effective our social distancing, working from home, shut downs, masks, washing hands more than like 2 times per day, isolation when feeling sick, isolation of the most vulnerable etc etc really is playing into reducing the true numbers if we acted like a normal flu season where we basically do nothing but get a flu shot.

Yeah P&I is how they inflate the flu numbers to get people to accept the jab.

The numbers for confirmed flu cases are usually pretty low.

All i see is planned operation to cause a lot damage to US economy, there is no real reasons to do all this damage to me, so it just look`s like they want the economy take big hit.

To be honest, the measures taken might have been too late and I wouldn't be surprised if it does go past the 100K mark.

10K were registered in the past 5 days and I'm thinking the peak is 3 weeks away.

They estimate there are millions of cases that went unreported and thousands that did not get registered as deaths due to flu. That is the point of drawing up estimates.

The confirmed cases are actually pretty low.

Oddly enough, I've been working 5-6 days a week, between 8-10 hours a day, for the past month and a half, surrounded by @200 folks in close proximity during most of that time, and no one has been sickened by corvid...

A month and a half...and no doomsday?? Hmm...

...and people are starting, and have been, to wonder about it. At least around here. I've heard, and participated in, more than one conversation that wonders just what all the fuss has been about.

Then we have a county leader, in Tennessee, I believe...not sure, I only caught part of it on the radio yesterday on my way to work...threatening action against church goers who participate in parking lot services on Easter Sunday in their cars...even if their windows are rolled up. Really, it's apparently a thing...maybe.

America is the third largest population in the world so lets pick a country like Sweden and compare same percentage but with their population.

US 330 million, 39 million is about 12% of the population, 410,000 is 1.05% of 39 million, and 24,000 is 5.85% of 410,000
Sweden 10 million, 1.2 million is 12% of the population, 12600 is 1.05% of 1.2 million with 737 dying.

So if we were a country with 10 million and we said 737 died of the flu how would people see that number?

I don't know. I'm looking at the graphs for daily deaths from countries further along in the cycle. Even after they peak the numbers don't magically drop.

Spain is still registering 66% of the deaths at peak a week later.

The big question is how long does it take to die?

One of my workers got it as did his wife and they had symptoms around the week of Mar 16th. His wife who has the most preexisting conditions by far got a mild case, and he had a bad cough for weeks, but even he was cleared by Apr 10th, so basically 4 weeks total.

By Mar 16th we were as a country in full isolation mode I think so we are now going on the 4+ weeks since that and people who had it before Mar 16th should be over it now, or dead...

NY state didn't lockdown until march 22 and I'm thinking many small towns are probably not in full isolation mode, we are talking almost a month later.

You have to remeber something though no matter how much the dollar is inflated , We still have Carrier Bound Navel fleets at every corner of the world, Squadrons of Stealth Air craft capable of infiltrating any enemy airspace , A satellite grid so omnipotent we know when the humidity changes in Beijing , Marines and Army Infantry an Hour away from ever where, Oh yea and 30,000 nuclear weapons and other advanced classified weaponry capable of God knows what.

Money Only matters as much as we need it to , ask your self a question what is worth more? A Squadron of F-22's or the imaginary 000"s in a bank account used to purchase them ?
