I also hope that it is just a terrible rumour too...

I did have that thought... since a lot of Jews are from that area of the world genetically.

Don't know how "fancy" they can get with the genomes though.

That rumour could be coming from Iranian sources too, who knows at this point eh?

At the end of the day, economies are getting tattered at the moment, stock markets crashing, etc.

Whether contrived, or real, etc,; it is still a force needed to be dealt with until it goes away.

There is like a debt reset going on or something..

The old quote to never let a good crisis go to waste comes to mind.... with a postscript: Whether it was engineered, natural, or otherwise.

Not probable...but still a possibility.
As mentioned above...Iran was importing many planeloads of Chinese workers from virus-ravaged Wuhan...long after other countries banned travel.
Iran has also been testing it's 5G through Irancell/Erickson since 2017.

Only because, so far, you're more likely to get influenza, as it is more widespread and entrenched. Covid19 has a greater transmission rate, and a MUCH higher mortality rate.

The 2 flu strains have killed 20K (up to 52K, CDC) in the US.

You know the difference between the flu and the call common cold, right?

If you catch a cold you don’t expect to die because your lungs fill up with cysts that block you from breathing oxygen.

That is CoVid-19 for you! Don’t even need underlying conditions. Oh, it is airborne. And it can sit there for a week, spreading, before you even feel sick. And it apparently has the same “hiding” mechanism as HIV (at least 2, if not all 3).

So stop saying that it is “just the flue” because it is not!

Actually saying the flu has a vaccine is kind of incorrect. The predominant strain can change every year so the flu shot is kind of a shot in the dark. The good news is out of the 4 main strains of flu most people if not all have some immunity to them unlike with the Cov 19 that is new, so no one has any immunity. It doesn't mean it is some super killer, just that the population will need a season for it to become like any other flu. What this means is a higher death rate than normal, but not some crazy number just a little higher in the end.

I'm not downplaying the seriousness since more people due to underlining complications will die.

Well add Iran has dense population areas and their healthcare is not good... I wonder if Trump will lift sanctions because of this.

What I do know, no toilet paper closed boarders, lock ins and economic instability

Pope Frances had CoronaVirus-19, but is now at least appearing in live stream broadcasts. It's too bad the Vatican is still so secretive. I suppose even he (in Rome) is subject to the Italy travel restrictions now.

For at least the next three weeks, people have been told to move around only for reasons of work, for health needs or emergencies or else stay at home. Anyone traveling will have to fill in a document declaring their reasons and carry it with them.
