So all the mean nasty extremists… with those horrible nasty military grade semi auto rifles managed to congregate and not go on a shooting spree... oh poo that doesn't support the narrative, wonder what the next lie will be.

Is there a specific time the "rally/protest" is supposed to end? I can't watch footage here at work, but thank you to all posting updates.

So glad to hear, so far so good. No trouble started. I really want this to go down so peaceful, if for no other reason than to disappoint the morons in the media.

And I hope the governor gets the message, but I doubt it. Seems a bit stupid, really. (him, not the rally)

Absolutely it is.

...and this goes quite a ways in disproving the key "argument" of the grabbers. That that many guns in one area will lead to them suddenly, and violently, leaping off shoulders shooting.

Why do these guys look and act like PMCs/merc instead of citizens?

Question is , how would you know ?

Air Force vet and spent time over seas in a place those types would pass through on their way in/out of theater.

Oh, the libs and the bias media have to be so disappointed. No violence at the rally, I actually seen on the video people picking up trash so the area would be as clean or cleaner after they left.

Conservatives care about the environment and the cities that host their rallies

Liberals, do not

Yea no violence...

The narrative was never about shooting sprees...

You all don't know what to manufacture outrage against any more...

Ping pong..

You all came down in the wrong side of the argument by page 7 of an asinine thread...

I guess my prediction stood...

No one gives 2 squirts of piss about mentalists who need guns to feel manly and worth something...

No antifa didn't clash and no the secret government didn't jam cell signals, nor were there false flag attacks... Mentalists

So now, suddenly, the reason for people to own guns is to “feel manly and worth something”

Talk about being totally clueless

This protest was about state government determining what rights we can enjoy.

If you think it's just about guns, then your focus is very narrow.

All our rights are at stake if we begin to cede or compromise on any single right.

The governor of Virginia would never I want this to happen in one of the churches in his state.

Thank you .

i agree wholeheartedly that now, more than ever, is the time for those of us who believe in our rights - as well as our country need to make damned sure we don't neglect to protect what have in our rights , country, and fellow countrymen.

Were always busy working and parenting and planning for the future, that sometimes we need to re-evaluate where our time is best spent.

As busy as we are, and as hard as we all work- we can't lose it by failure to participate.

"If not us, then who?"
"If not now, then when?"

I disagree.

Limiting your purchase to a single hand-gun once per month is hardly an infringement on your ability to keep and bear arms.

Performing background checks to keep firearms out of the hands of violence-prone individuals and people who want to commit mass murders is hardly an infringement on your ability to keep and bear arms.

Also, please cry me a river because you can't bring your gun to the park on Saturday.

If you are against freedom and rights and want to qualify them as privileges that the government bestows upon people they deem worthy, that is (heh) your right.

I added some highlights to your quote so you could read it again and maybe absorb what you wrote.

I wonder if the New York Times would endorse a law limiting the publishing of newspapers to once a month?

Are murderers, rapist and muggers bringing their weapons to the park on Saturdays?

If a town of 100 has a gun store then only a maximum of 100 handguns could be sold in a month to the population. Kinda hampers a legal business by an overreach of government doesn’t it?

But it doesn’t work that way does it. Because those 100 will not buy one a month. The same 30-40 people as always. Which means on 30-40 will be sold versus say 60-70 before the law.
