Now we have 3 suspected cases that should have results tomorrow and... 38 others who went on the same school trip to Italy in February who are self monitoring for symptoms. Like how many will actually have this virus and how the hell many have they come into contact with?

Testing those who are symptomatic. Many have no symptoms for quite a while before they show any signs. This could be nothing or it could spread like wildfire.
