Good luck controlling what is actually happening.
What is separate from what IS happening?

They say that ego is part of awakening, so we need to work with and through it's/our mistakes; acknowledgement/acceptance of conceptual knowledge not denial/ignorance when listening to the voice in the head. They say return to the pre-ego state (beyond ego) - knowing your connectedness with the one but not letting the voice dilute your identity.
Then how do we split true identity from ego. If ego is part of the journey then it is a necessary element to awakening. I would even venture so far as to say that if ego is controlled then it can come along for the rest of the journey, whatever that entails.

Forget philosophy....... what actually is?
Words are divisive....
Without any words at all what actually is there?
Just this.
In this, as this, stories arise about someone.
Is there really anyone in the body? Or is there simply what is appearing to happen?

Feel free to philosophize this:
Is there really someone in the body choosing what thoughts arise and controlling actions?
Is there really a self separate to life/reality?
What is the self? Does it actually exist?

There is no good or bad.
There just is.
I have heard this before and it makes sense.
Too bad we humans can screw up anything.
Especially if it's simple.
