You're right.
Sometimes the words are a part of the 'this that is'. Like 'now'.

But mentioning the words, don't seem to generate a physical Jed McKenna, any less than being oblivious of them.

There is no thing so how could a thing die?

Wording makes it seem as if there are things.

Words are divisive.... where is before and after?
There is only what is happening but words cannot speak of what is happening...

Make reality better, Astrocyte?

The 'allo-centric' or 'other-focus', to me, is a beautiful paradox: if you want to make reality better, start with the other, and only afterwards will you be rewarded i.e. be treated in a similar way. This means that although I may do this because I want to help myself, I also experience a great deal of joy and peace being able to bring goodness and joy - an experience of being so unlike the one I was born into - into the lives of other humans.

I don't think one's unique perception of reality can be manipulated in the way you think it can because your reality then merges with another persons reality, then control is not yours or theirs, it is both. If both do not have the same purpose of mind, then there will be two separate experiences within that one bubble of an event. In this case, you may feel or think that you are bringing goodness and joy to others, but that may not be their reality.

There is a saying, "You can't pour from an empty cup; take care of yourself first."

You stated that "no-thing" was born and that it will die. Its upto you to show how and why no-thing will die. Go back and read your posts again.

There isn't any thing!!!!!

Nothing isn't something......

No thing was ever born so no thing can ever die.

It seems that you misunderstood the statement... ha ha ha.

Nothing was born so nothing can die.

Nothing isn't some thing.

Go read all my posts again..... I made it as clear as possible.

nothing "is" a thing, that's what I meant when I said you caused a separation. Another example of your words

There isn't any

there
is
not
any

Those declarative words are relaying information. If you were honest with your philosophy you would remain in silence.

Thanks for raising these interesting points.

Can we point at 'something', that's not 'there', nor anywhere ?

What is 'nothing' ? Where ? Says who ?

Are words, concepts, ideas, constructs things ?
Or are they 'nothing', trying to point at 'something' ?

What if 'nothing': is all we can muster, while communicating, to describe the absence of 'thingness' ?

Darned if we don't get all tangled-up in 'thingness', when we try to use any system with limitations, to describe 'what' is beyond that system, and those limitations.

Within this consensual reality, all of this, and down to here in this form: are we not in 'thingness' ?
Here in this 'thingness', perhaps nothing may indeed be a thing.

What good Itisnowagain is indicating, or pointing, is beyond the veil of 'thingness', and so very, very difficult to describe, from here.
Because: how could one indicate, describe, or point to nothingness ?

It's sorta kinda like the mind turned inwards, towards itself, then 'itself' disappears...

From here, in materialism and consensual reality: it's absurd.
Yet folks have been dwelving into 'it' for millennia.

Much ado about nothing...

Of course there is a soul; otherwise the body will not animate.

We all get enlightened along the path of life, if we choose to. If we choose too, we have that right.

You choose to, believe me as its part of your initial incarnation contract OTHERWISE no point at all a huge waste of a body, script and all of your supporting actors (your life play closed after 1 week in Detroit).

They say that ego is part of awakening, so we need to work with and through it's/our mistakes; acknowledgement/acceptance of conceptual knowledge not denial/ignorance when listening to the voice in the head. They say return to the pre-ego state (beyond ego) - knowing your connectedness with the one but not letting the voice dilute your identity.

Then how do we split true identity from ego. If ego is part of the journey then it is a necessary element to awakening. I would even venture so far as to say that if ego is controlled then it can come along for the rest of the journey, whatever that entails.

Good luck controlling what is actually happening.

What is separate from what IS happening?
