Well if this is older than Buddha, it may be what Buddha was a knockoff of.

I guess the unfortunate subject of this carving had a horribly broken nose, which was off-centered to be directly over the right lip. Poor fella!

Interesting. I have a strong feeling these faces are fake to throw the public off course from the truth. Reminds me of another alleged "face" on Mars where the face looks black. Now in Antarctica it's Chinese. It seems the pc-multicult agenda's a sculptor too. :-)

It looks pretty good. But it is surrounded by mountains just above its head, that make it look like it is resting or something.

Like one of those frost giants in Viking legends.

The real question is: if they took a picture of it again in a few months, will the snow have shifted enough to eliminate the image?

Or that's question #1. Question #2 is: how long before google or someone in deep state edits the image?

About a kilometer lengthwise...

I'm thinking the ice caps used to be both situated in the oceans thus Antarctica may not have always been frozen...AND SEA LEVELS MUCH LOWER.

Pole shift maybe?

I just recently heard the Sahara was lush jungle several millennia ago and that they are finding tons of archaeological sites there...much like the pyramids all used to be buried in sand.

I'm also thinking there may be a similar situation on mars; what with that hypothetical planet wide tsunami brought on by an impact.

They say mars looks as if a grinder was applied to its northern hemisphere.

Google Earth offers more than one date to pic the picture from, they all show this feat, just slightly distorted but even the superbad quality picture from 99 delivers clues to the main structure we can see here.

Looks more like Voltron .

I just think its pareidolia would be cool if it was real but to many of the same hole like structures around in the snow and ice these just look like a face .

It's not Pareidolla if you're an archaeologist or someone who's interested in ancient civilizations, because that's what you look for.

You’re right. And when I looked again I found a chin and a hairline to go with eyes nose, nostrils, mouth, and teeth.
