Call me stupid, but something just occurred to me.

Not stupid at all. It is just that this a series of complex political maneuvers, the quantity and variety of which the country has not seen in a long time.

It doesn't help that the media is so hopelessly biased that they couldn't write a straight story about the events if they tried.

We're all sorting and processing this mess as it occurs. Count me in as one who is learning a LOT about the functioning of our federal government since 2016.

Based on his past work I am thinking this may be about google and others like amazon and their ability to control information and "eavesdrop" or spy on the public and the government. He represented FB at one point and ATT in their government eavesdropping case.

Could also have to do with the Uber guy that stole Google's LIDAR stuff.
