He’s a leftist. The word ‘policy’ is new to him. I imagine he’s researching its meaning and then looking into the President’s policies and thinking “holy shet, cNn HAS been openly lying to me this whole time”

This is nothing but wishful thinking. Some Trump voters will no doubt vote for Gabbard in the primary, but since she isn't going to be the Dem nominee this won't matter. They'll come back and vote for Trump instead of whatever progressive whackjob he runs against in the general election next year.

I do not agree with some of her positions on various issues. But so what? Unless I am running for office, I will not agree 100% with anyone.

A President does not get to enact everyone of their beliefs instantly, upon election. They will get a few, have to compromise on some more, and write off the rest.

Of the whole DNC field, she is the only adult in the room.

Things I agree with:
- She supports reinstating Glass-Steagal or something similar. A separation between commercial and investment baking.
- She is against regime change wars and all that they entail.
- She is for election security, paper ballots.
- She voices against online censorship such as what Google does with its algorithms.

Things I may not fully agree with or am unclear on what she might do as President:
- Immigration. I believe people should be treated with humanity. I believe borders need to be respected and protected by law. But when I hear "Immigration Reform" and few details, I am not sure where she is going with it.
- Infrastructure. I keep politicians keep talking about infrastructure. But she (and the rest) are where the money gets allocated and here we sit. I appreciate one representative may not have much pull.
- Medicare for All. I would like to see folks get the care they need. I believe the US can make it happen. I do not believe health care is a human right. I have no clue how to do it but getting large government bureaucracies and/or the insurance lobby knee deep in the process will not help.

Things I differ on with her:
- Climate Change. A big subject but I do not start from the same place as her nor do I end up at the same place as her.
- 2nd Amendment. Sorry. I do not agree with her.
- Minimum Wage. It's not just her but anyone who shares her views. It does not make economic sense.

Gabbard is normal, she doesn't play identity politics to the extreme which divides the country like the rest of her party and she is not socialistic and authoritarian like them as well. She seems slightly left of center and isn't an unhinged lunatic.

Trump can only hope he takes her on - nurses have alot of balls but she didn't fight on any battlefield or work in one even, she was a part time nurse mostly on a holiday tour. There is nothing in her past or present that says she has any right or ability to disrespect her chain of command or ignore the document she swore to uphold - she will fold like origami under pressure. I think some vote with there dick and Kamala Lewinksi is a bridge too far.

Most of what you like about her are side issues. She only cared about Google censorship when SHE was censored. The main issues, the ones that actually effect your life in a very meaningful way you did not post about or you say you don't agree with her. Climate change and green energy, minimum wage, gun bans, 'free' college, the things that will destroy our economy and future, I disagree with her on all of it. Typical progressive freebies for everyone if you vote for me, except nothing in life is free, she is calling it free and then will make me pay for it.

One person's side issues are another's main issues. I guess that's why there should be numerous issues discussed in a run up to an election.

The separation of investment banking and commercial banking is not meaningful to everyday life? The crash of 2008 was driven in large part by that. It affected almost everyone. I guess I would consider that important.

As a military veteran, regime change wars did affect me personally. Got lot's of quality time in scenic dirt piles around the globe. For what?

I am not saying Tulsi Gabbrd is perfect. I am not proclaiming I will or will not vote for her. I have made it clear I do not agree with her on issues. You and I may disagree how important those issues are or aren't. No worries. It's fine. However, compared to the rest of the Democrat slate? She seems the most lucid.
