Two years of flying FPV drones. This was last night. Best flight to date!

This flight went so well, I had to share! Super long low lines in this video. Beautiful lighting from the sun setting. Everything just clicked!

I hope you enjoy, this was one of my best flights yet!

** I had some local wildlife star in this film **

Thank you!

GoPro Session 5 - I 3D printed a custom 30* degree mount for it.

Brilliant as always man!

I almost feel like I'm in the passenger seat while watching your videos, I can look ahead and predict the lines through the trees that you take, lol

Keep 'em coming 🙂 👌

South East Connecticut.

We live up on a hill, approx. 700ft in elevation. So as soon as I get up over the tree's, the view goes on for a while.

I'm glad you guys enjoy my flights. I know it can be hard to follow with the flips, and rolls. It takes some getting used too!

The positive comments really keep me inspired.
Thank you for that!

Whats an FPC drone?

Was the video sped up?

Can anyone own these? If so, whats the brand and model?

Seems like this would be the drone to buy.

FPV drone ( First person View ) The drone carry's two camera's. One HD for the footage you see above. Then one that goes back to my VR goggles that I wear. When I fly, I see real time off the nose of it. Without that perspective, it would be impossible to fly like that.

This particular drone of mine goes 75 - 80 mph. What you see is real time how fast it fly's.

You must register yourself, and the drone with the FAA.

I built this from scratch. From soldering the wires to the flight controller, to the ESC's, to motors. Configuring the receiver and setting my ranges. Installing the VTX, and RX. Mounting and tweaking the FPV cam and OSD (on screen display) and then 3d printing my GoPro mount to fit in with the drone frame. Its all done by me. Lots of online reading and YouTube tutorials. After its built, the tuning takes place.

This drone if I were to replace it would cost around 500 bucks give or take ( GoPro included ) and about 4 hours of my time just to build it. Then another couple hours to fly , test, and tune.

The radio to fly it with is another 120 bucks and the goggles are over 300.

Its a fun hobby, but it takes a bit to get it off the ground "monetarily " One wrong move usually equals a hundred bucks in repairs or more. Its the risk we take!

Get out there and enjoy it! I was thinking of grabbing a DJI Mavic as a photography platform. An idea of mine was to do a time exposure of the night sky with a drone during a meteor shower. Since the DJI can stay in the air for 25 - 30min. IT might just work.

Nice clear video. The turing upside down and the spinning were a bit nauseating, the loop to loops were of ok though. Other than that great job.
