U.S. women's soccer...Damm!!!

The womens u.s. soccer team Is on another level.
They just wont their 1st world cup game 13-0.

Thailand has a poor team and may be the 1st time in a world cup. So the matchup was off.

The well oiled machine which is the u.s. womens soccer team, is a thing of beauty to watch.

Of course the media is trying to bash the u.s. team for continuing to celebrate after each goal.

And all that long blonde hair bouncing around is a bonus...

Thats the all American team right there...

They are a mirror image to the US men's team.
Those guys can't even get into the tournament...

On a side note, the women's college World Series has set a viewership record this year.
It's nice to see the ladies get a little recognition.

The USA women's football team were convincingly beaten by a team of adolescents in a embarrassing defeat for the world champions. They were roundly outplayed, losing 5-2 against FC Dallas Under-15s academy side who took full advantage of their big day. The players did not appear to allow the display to subdue their spirits and posed with the opposition for photos after the game.

When it comes to the boring sports like baseball/softball and soccer, the women's game is almost always better to watch.

They get beat by high school men's teams.
Not all too surprising, really

It's schoolboy level football.

Gender and the sport aside

I am always torn when I see huge blowouts like this in sports, with the winning team continuing to celebrate

On one hand hey they have the right to celebrate, if the other team doesn’t like it they should play better

But on the other hand, if the other team is clearly outmatched, perhaps a more humble approach is entailed

So if you have a professional league, sure all teams are in the same plane and so running up the score and celebrating seems more reasonable m

But in something like school sports or here, where it’s clear one team is in a completely different level, it might be a but much

Hopefully Thailand’s team has a good attitude and uses this loss as motivation to work hard and improve themselves

And hopefully if the US team loses, particularly in a blowout they take the loss with class and understand they have been in n the other end of it

I watched my daughters softball season this year and it really bugged me when people would be cheering when someone made a mistake.

Your kid hit an easy pop up in the infield and the fielders collided.....

but its a worldcup, the most important event for a soccerplayer, so i'm ok with that. let them celebrate. after the match they act very respectful. germany vs. usa would be c great final!

He didnt have an answer..
