The President changed his mind less than a week later.

WHY? Could it happen again, if the threat is serious enough? You can bet that he'll take a lot of heat for some dangerous people, if Barr doesn't get the Declassifications dripping out to the public ASAP.

We’ve all been let down when the documents weren’t declassified.

Before exercising this authority, the Attorney General should, to the extent he deems it practicable, consult with the head of the originating intelligence community element or department.
