But it takes a president who projects strength to give people hope.

I actually read this and laughed out loud. Trump a person who projects strength? really LMAO. The man who lashes out when faced with criticism, the man who almost jumped in to Secret services arms when someone touched his heel, the man who dodged Vietnam because his (Allegedly because apparently they were OK for basketball) feet hurt, the man so insecure he needs constant reassurance he is liked so he holds rallies and so much more...that man.

This man chose the party where the constituents are easily manipulated and it shows, while the the world sees him for what he is, his Trumpers see something that absolutely does not exist because he brainwashed them which is not all that amazing. Considering he is not that smart or likeable but proves the case that people on the right are easily manipulated.

He is to those that know what strength is. His attacked/react ratio is extremely low and he projects American strength regardless of what you think of him as a person. He is not a person, he is a POTUS and he has given that office strength again if his resilience against pointless bickering against his character isnt evidence enough. You cant list 1 policy or statement his voters didnt at least partially agree with. He doesnt apologize, that's weak.

And Democrats were the party that was picked by globalists to promote a Marxist utopia and you leftist eat it up with passion.

As someone who has lived through a few natural disasters myself (Hurricanes Rita and Ike come to mind immediately) I commend the Trumps for coming into the disaster zone and showing support for the people. When you're in the middle of a life altering crisis and have been traumatized beyond belief political affiliations go by the wayside and it gives you a glimmer of hope when our leaders show that they care by taking the time to just stop by and say Howdy. Yes pretty much all Presidents have done it, and it's a good thing in more ways than one. Good for the survivors and good for the country as a whole. I think folks who have been bashing the President for it have sunk to an embarrassing low. It is shameful.

As far as signing Bibles at the people's request, that isn't unusual. My old Bible has highlighter, notes scribbled in margins, dog ears, and early "artwork" from my nieces, nephews and the grandkid. It's not like he wiped his backside with the pages, doodled penis pics or used a few pages to light a barbecue pit. Stop using something most Presidents have done to bash the man. Attack someone's politics all you like but put it in the proper perspective: Alabama is not the place and now is not the time.

I'm sure he loves his country. I'm sure Obama loves his country, as did Clinton and both Bushs'.

I see something that appears really quite genuine...I see a smile on Melania's face that is truly heartfelt you can't 'fake that.
I have never known, in all my years, a President & First Lady be so viciously attacked on a daily basis and yet carry on. I couldn't do it, and look what the job did to Obama....it added years on him!

This past week, an outbreak of late-Winter tornados killed 23 people in Alabama. President Trump and First-lady Melania, went and gave comfort to survivors, after search-rescue operations were completed.

A recap of President Trump and First Lady Melania thanking rescue and recovery workers, and visiting families and communities devastated by recent tornadoes in the Southeast.

The local residents were intensely appreciative of the response from the Trump family.

Image caption: The crowd cheering when President Trump took a picture with Gatlin, a 12 year old who has been volunteering at Providence Church all week. The President also signed some bibles.

America is very blessed to have a President who has "Americans and America FIRST" as his #1 Job Priority!

Good on Trump!

I remember when Bush jr came to Oklahoma after a F5 rolled through.
I know it is really just a photo op but it is nice to know that one cares enough to pay attention and give comfort.

I've noticed how the presidency ages almost all of them. It has to be the ultimate pressure cooker.

To be honest, his age was one thing that concerned me when i voted for DT. Although i think Pence is an honest, stand up guy, he's a bit too right, and a bit too rigid for me.

So like what every president does in any large natural disaster. Gotcha.

Explain the bible autographs though. Does he think he's god?

Plenty of people have called him "The Messiah", and compared him to Cyrus, the Messiah that inadvertently freed the Jews from Babylonian captivity when he conquered Babylon for Persia.

You can't? The "Screen Actors Guild", and "The Guild" would disagree with you.

You would think it would be a situation where everyone could pull together over a tragedy, but what did i see this morning?..... Ppl in the media WHINING about the fact that he signed bibles when asked.
Really?

If it wasn't for the Bible signings, liberal media coverage would have been 90% lower than its usual abysmal level.

is there where he was signing bibles?

Would it have been more acceptable if the President was signing Korans or Qurans?

If you spit in someone's face, you really can't expect a helping hand now can you?

Honestly, President Trump even helps those who give him a hard time. Look at the ways he's assisting California, even though they sue the administration repeatedly, and vote 90% Democrat.

Having been through numerous Gulf Coast hurricanes and flooding, the politicians can come through and get there back pats but please keep them out of the way of the people trying to work at fixing the situation.

After a disaster like that people want to be comforted their way, doesn't have to be logical.
I suspect those tornadoes went through a local bible belt that depends on their faith for community healing.
Who needs the usual global warming excuses or building code edicts right after a loss like that?

Apparently people who knock Christianity don't understand much about it. The whole premise of Christianity is that Christ died for, and ATONED for, the sins of mankind...EVERYONE is included in mankind. That means that every human being has an opportunity to repent, to change their lives for the better, and be redeemed. Everybody. And gosh...I think that even means low-life's like billionaires, millionaires, and politicians who have somehow managed to MAKE millions by selling out their constituents and the rest of the country while spouting all that progressive love and inclusion and diversity and we'll take care of you crap.

Christianity...the religion that gives everyone a break. Even YOU.

What's funny is how the U.S. media always gets it WRONG when it comes to understanding the type of U.S. President American appreciate.

Case in point:

BREAKING: At this point in Obama's 1st term, 26% of Americans strongly approved of the job he was doing, compared with 35% who strongly approve of the job Trump is doing.

Trump doesn't have Obama's press propaganda machine behind him. Ergo,Trump has much stronger base of support!
Source: twitter.com...

90% of the U.S. media is totally out of touch with the people. And, because they are such "activists", in addition to being stupid, that 90% is also an ENEMY to U.S. citizens.
